An Age of Empire III mod taking place in the Middle east in the times of the crusades. The mod takes place from the first Crusade(1095) to the sixth crusade (1272). take up the cross for the crusaders as one of 3 factions under the name of Christ and drive the Muslim invaders out of Jerusalem and the holy land stopping the enslavement of Christians and Pilgrims. Fight for Allah and the Islamic forces defending your empire and stopping the slaughter of innocent muslim civilians, or fight under the Byzantine Empire defending your territory from the Invading Muslim armies, and defending the Byzantine way of life and the Byzantine religion(eastern orthodoxy). The choice is yours.
The true cross unit that is available to the Crusaders and the Byzantines. There is one addition I lacked to put in, which is that after producing the true cross it caps out your population, and that the true cross acts as an explorer and is either captured by the oppossing team, or is ransomed upon death.
