Fight for Freedom is a modern-day, small-scale warfare Total Conversion for Unreal Tournament 2003. The mod is based upon wars that are currently occurring in the world.' The armed forces involved are the Special Forces, comprised of soldiers from armies across the world, and the Tangos. FfF has many of its maps loosely based on locations around the world where there are conflicts currently occurring. FfF, along with these ‘Wars Of The World’ Campaigns will feature a set of maps called ‘Single Black Ops’ which are maps that don’t have any particular theme but give the player a wide variety of stipulated situations. Single Black Ops can include things such as Hostage Rescue operations to things such as Opposing Forces weapon dump raids. The first beta release of FfF will be multi-player (MP) only, and is in no aspect complete. Further along the line, FfF will incorporate a single-player (SP) campaign.

UT 2003 Mod Network: How is this realistic mod different from the rest of realistic mods?

Captain Winters: Probably because we are aiming for 99% realism and 100% game play; We realize that it is very hard to properly emulate total realism, and games that come close, often lose the fun, therefore, we have removed features you usually would find in most super realism games, such as stamina meters and the like. But if we are talking about why T:FfF is unique, I could give you a whole list. All of our weapons are completely customizable, that’s including the type of ammunition you wish to use, We take a lot of focus off GUI menus and put it all into the First person perspective. I.E instead of choosing your weapons from a menu, you go to an armory room and hit use and any equipment, weapons and ammunition you want. All the features we want you to know about are explained in detail on our Features Page.
