Please forgive my ignorance but why is Ryukyu part of the shogunate? I remember having many opportunities to seize it as a daimyo rather than it actually being one.

Who gains and looses SHogun status is controlled with events based on influence, relations, and many other factors. I plan on eventualy adding decisions to spend influence on.
