For a runner a small visor makes orientation in urban eviorments harder, also the gloss most likely will block the sun, so you can always run, jump and climb perfect.
I can't say what they don't understand, but I think they do understand that it means they want critique, They're just giving advice. By the way, As was said about white white blue trim would look cooler, but it would be too visible at night, I would go for a tad more variation anyway. I love the wrist pieces.
I think it looks awesome right now, but two things I would change are...
1. I would change the helmet, it doesn't seem to fit the rest of the suit just quite right, and you could make the visor bigger or smaller.
2. I think that the shin pads also don't seem to fit the suit, I'd stylize them a bit more. I do like the black and red colors though.
not sure if i like the overall design choice buy that doesn't matter
however i really like the simpleness and dirty rubbery feel to the boots(although they feel a bit out of place now with the rest of the model, i wouldnt mind if the suit was less hightech and more rubbery like the boots. but that's just my opinion)
a little more grayscale contrast would probably look good also.
Really nice model so far.
But... well... I can't say I like the suit as a type of clothing.

This is nice. REALLY nice. I would just like a bit more variety in the texture, something a bit more than just red and black.
That is really epic.
I personally think the suit should be white with a blue trim and the visor should be alot smaller and less glossy :)
But hey, just an opinion, otherwise its a very decent quality model :)

I would probably change the color to white, it looks a little odd all black. Other than that it looks fantastic!
