I just played the demo and it was great!
The aspect ratio is broken (16:9 looks like 4:3 stetched)
Also when saving at the same time dynomite explodes, it doesnt destroy the anything.
Also the loading screens are weirdly cut off.
Type /cg_fixedAspect 2 in the console to fix this issue. The download file will be updated very soon with implemented console commands such as this one within the executable.
Maggy_ The download file was updated yesterday, and it brings aspect ratio fix.
I typed the command into the console which fixed it for me
For me no problems with graphics, HUD is OK @1920x1080.
I got some crashes switching to pistol. Is it normal? Can you check?
This is unfortunately a iortcw-related issue; are you playing in rend2 mode? Btw, RealRTCW has a new Colt model with way more polygons than iortcw allows the game to display, which is more or less indirectly causing this issue. Also note that, even on 64-bit systems, launching the mod from the x86.bat file instead of the x64.bat may result in better performances. Hope it helps.
rend2 crashes with new colt perhaps? I fixed this in 2.2

Donloaded the demo , unrar , then appear a message: Pak0.pk3 missing ...???
Please refer to the installation instructions provided on the download page (click "Read more..." in the "Description" tab). Also you need a clean install of the US RTCW, v1.41.
Clicking on the bat file does nothing for me. Clicking on ioWolfSP.x86.exe gives an error that the sp_pak4.pk3 file is missing. I found it on the net, i put it in the main folder but still no luck.
I had the vanilla version, i updated to 1.33, then to 1.41 and then i copied this demo files as suggested. I applied the 1.41 again because it was asking but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi foo_jam2002. Have you verified that your copy of Return To Castle Wolfenstein is the US version of the game? As stated in this download's description (which you have to refer to, by clicking on "Read more..." in the "Description" tab), this mod is powered by the RealRTCW - Realism Mod, itself based on iortcw. iortcw only works with US RTCW v1.41.
Thanks for your answer. Yes, i have read everything here in order to find a solution. I only got missing pak files. The strange thing is that when i updated to 1.33 and then to 1.41, inside the game it was showing 1.0.0. This was not a legal copy, i admit.
Now, i just bought the game from gog hoping it's the us version, (steam and gog versions are supposed to be the same) and i am trying again. The gog says it's 1.32. I go for the 1.33 and it says it's 1.33, the updtae is not necessary. I go for the 1.41 (although the gog page shows 1.41) and it still shows 1.32, i don't know why.
Update: I just installed the uprising demo, i clicked on the bat file and nothing happens. So, i bought the game for nothing. At least, the developers deserve it. But too bad i can't play your mod.
foo_jam2002, that's strange. The "GOG" and "Steam" versions are indeed supposed to be the same. I have no clue what the problem could be then.
Sometimes in the world of computers, strange things happen that hardly can be explained, i know.
Idk the GoG version of the game worked for me. Didn't have to patch it or anything. Or you could try the mod out without patching the GoG version.
exclude your game folder from any antivirus scanning (also maybe your U.A.C is set very high,not sure if windows security would cause issues though))and check your graphics drivers(.
I had problems when i was using win8.1 with an AMD RX560 card
I had to use win7 drivers as AMD have stopped making win8 drivers for my card.
Most games worked ok but some older games wouldn't start .
Those same games are now working since i changed to win10 and used a different AMD driver.
I probably would have had the same result if i installed win7.
The point i'm getting at is it could be something to do with your computer setup.

It should be compatible soon Killerbreath, once the full version is released. You see, the full version of "The Dark Army: Uprising" will probably have most of the content from "RealRTCW 2.2", like the previous versions did with older versions of "RealRTCW". I'm not a developer of the mod though, so I can't guarantee that what I said is true.
