"Make Peace or Die"
“Talon 1-5” is a story-driven single-player and co-op mod that aims to combine realism and combat tactics with a science-fiction environment. It will put players into a war to end all wars where they will have to think in order to survive. Taking inspiration from history as well as imagination, we will strive to tell a story about the infantrymen and women of the early 22nd century and how they must persevere for survival and victory like all the Marines who preceded them.
The story centers around an 12-man special forces squad, codenamed “Talon” attached to the 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment of the United States Marine Corps. As our world once again sinks into war, Talon 1-5 becomes part of the Battalion Landing Team for 31st MEU. As a special operations unit, Talon 1-5 are tasked with hunting down and detaining an influential revolutionary leader, as he may hold the key to ending the conflict before them. This classified mission will underlie their more immediate objectives in participation of the North American and Asiatic theaters of the third great war.
A first person shooter at its core, “Talon 1-5” will incorporate gameplay that is both believable and tactical. However, tactical is not necessarily synonymous with slow. Players will have to work with their squad-mates to survive some of the most frantic and hectic situations that the war will throw at them.

Hey everybody!
A lot of amazing things are happening behind the scenes over at Bohica, many of which we can't really go into too much detail about at the moment, but suffice it to say, we have some nice media to show you, until we're ready to roll out the red carpet...
First up is a WIP model for the PLA Gunship by Linus "Nova" Hoffman.
Next we have a US Army sidearm, the FA-6 by Predator, and our futuristic version of a Humvee, the LAV-22 MIEV by Zanrok!
Stay tuned for some exciting new developments on the horizon! I wish I could spill them all now, but you'll just have to sit tight!

Nice update! All this content is looking awesome. I wouldent be suprised if this becomes a commercial, like how Red Orchestra ended up. ;)
Glad to hear that there will be other military branches, especially the Army Rangers. Will they have ACU or Multicam camo patterns?
You already know this, but some really impressive art you guys got there. Fine background story too. Keep it going, don't be too ambitious.
LMFAO. The game takes place 120 years from now. You don't see US troops today wearing a blue jacket and tights do you? lol J.P.
Anyways, could you make the US Army Soldiers wear ACU's, with futuristic wearing futurstic armor, shoulder pads, leg pads, vest, etc.

Yes, all branches will be represented in some form, however we are heavily streamlining the operational capabilities of each branch for a much more efficient and integrated military. In the demo level, the Marines of "Talon 1-5" will be fighting along side US Army Rangers.
I always wondered what the US Military will look like in the future
will there be other branches like Army, Navy, Air Force, etc?

ComradeAlucard: in what sense? We have done quite a bit of research for some time now in terms of their military, political and sociological standings and where it could possibly go in the future. What do you think we need to pay more attention to?
Looks very promising and amazing Modeling and Texturing but it does seem like you need to learn abit more about the chinesse in my opnion.
Good mod. I gonna get this game just to play this mod. Seems very realistic for a future game because it involves known factions.
