Hey Tolkien fanboys (and fangirls),

Make sure to check out the new showcase screenshots for the full version of Tales of Middle Earth, coming soon! featuring Harad, Rivendell, and Rhun, just 3 of the 18 civilizations available in this Tolkien inspired mod for Age of Empires II

Full version improvements over the beta will include:
• All new Rohan/Rhovanion buildings
• All new Harad buildings
• All new Rhun buildings
• All new Rivendell buildings
• Additional variations for some civ's buildings.
• Dozens of new units, as well as over a hundred new unit graphics added since the beta.
• Individual graphics for each unit line based on race or civ.
• Heroes, new technologies, and super units at the wonder.
• All terrains, cliffs, and forests have been reskinned.

Ok I have been trying for a while now...have uninstalled and reinstalled both AoE and your mod multiple times..have tried running as admin, compatibility modes... every fix I know of and that has been posted on your 29 pages of comments...still says it isn't responding when I try and start a game with this mod. Am running windows 7 everything of AoE is up to date.

Thanks for reporting, I'll look into that map. Strangely, no other player has reported an issue with that map, so this might be caused by something else.

This same thing happened to me before I installed the patch. Have you installed it, Warhust93? Before I installed the patch I couldn't play Harad, Mordor, Misty Mountains, or Gondor. Once I installed the patch it was all fixed.

On a side note, the game *is* much better after the patch, but there were buildings in the pre-patch version that were much cooler than the actual beta version. The Rohan-type civilizations had Helms-Deep as a castle, and the Elven civilizations had grey/blue buildings that were elgantly designed. I'm going to be frank, I don't like the current design of the Elven civilizations.

What patch? For AoE? If their is one for ToME then no I only downloaded the link provided by the latest download link up above....In answer to ToME-Team I have found no other issues except the already afformentioned one where you can't play Mordor map on multi otherwise game looks and plays great

Black__Mesa is talking about the official 1.0c patch, which is required for ToME to work correctly. I suppose you already have the patch, though. Otherwise a lot of graphics would appear corrupted.

There is a standard patch for the conquerors. I believe ( Download.cnet.com ) is the latest version. I don't recommend using the source I provided, mostly because I haven't used it and don't know if it's safe or not. If you want to run ToME smoothly at all, you'll need the conquerors patch.

Also i have found that the Mumak tower does look like a mumakiil until it fires, the isengard banner barer looks like a shaman, and the marksman will blink in and out of existence when walking north or east not south or west. Literally that is all the issues i have encountered. Btw as I have said before so nobody else asks me as it is counterproductive...I have the AoE patch otherwise as ToME pointed out I would have a lot more issues. Also it isn't just me my friend steve has the same exact issues each time we play.

Excellent game. Units are have amazing detail. I don't like the design of the Elven buildings but hey, that's just opinion. I haven't noticed any glaring glitches. **Just a few problems... After opening the game a few times, it stopped playing 'Lord of the Rings main theme' and replaced it with the standard medley. I suppose that if I reinstalled it, it would work just fine but I'm far too lazy. I noticed that Rohan, as an AI, will build the Hornburg rather than the standard castle for that type…
