Is to be launched a new expansion for Age of Empires 2 HD, called "The Forgotten".

it is also possible to create modifications to the steam

my question is:

1) predente you use this new version to the lord of the rings?

It would be great to use it
will improve a lot the game - (age2 Hd)

who knows
Maybe you have an idea to make Uruk-hai spearmen in the style of the Inca civilization (The Forgotten Expansion), putting long spears. Would be very cool.

Hi I have a question again.. is it normal that when I play Numenor I can only build the Temple to the Valar, whenever I chose Elendili or king's men?

Hello!

I really enjoy playing this mod! it is really well done guys! While waiting for the actual TOME campaigns, I am just playing the AOK and AOE campaigns, still nice! I just had a few questions..

1) Is it normal that after having searched the "Dwarven architecture" with Eregion and Lindon you can not build any castles anymore, and that castles are not able to shoot arrows anymore? It is a bit of a pity, because they really look very nice!

2) I love the castles and walls in every civilizazion, they fit so much the design of each civilization! However, for the elves and humans, I think the castles look a bit too small compared to the walls, would there be a way so add another level of rocks under their castle, to make them reach the height of the walls? or maybe lower the walls a bit?

Thank you for your nice work, and hope these questions will not offend you..

Yes, that Dwarven Stonework Castle problem is definitely a bug. We have fixed that. :)

Opinion on the wall height is divided, but we really want to introduce a sense of grandeur particularly for the Elven architecture. However, you will be pleased to know that we have all-new walls for Rivendell (along with new building looks) which are suitably lower in height!

I followed the instructions in the readme file for this mod when installing, and I installed the c-patch before I installed the mod. the problem is that when I start a skirmish game, all the textures are the vanilla aoe 2 textures. none of them are textures from this mod. do you know how to fix this problem?

Does this mod work on the Steam HD edition of the game? I am having issues with installing it currently and was wondering if anybody could help me. Whenever I download the file, and select the location, it comes up with an error saying that it could not find the location. I am trying to install it into the Steam apps > common > Age2HD folder.
I guess the question is where do I install the mod to, if it is possible to do so on the Steam HD edition of the game?
Thanks! :)

The mod was released before HD, so no, you can't use the installer to install it over there (except maybe by manually copying over the installed files to the right locations).

That said, porting to HD is on the cards for ToME. Keep watching!

Excellent game. Units are have amazing detail. I don't like the design of the Elven buildings but hey, that's just opinion. I haven't noticed any glaring glitches. **Just a few problems... After opening the game a few times, it stopped playing 'Lord of the Rings main theme' and replaced it with the standard medley. I suppose that if I reinstalled it, it would work just fine but I'm far too lazy. I noticed that Rohan, as an AI, will build the Hornburg rather than the standard castle for that type…
