Note: This is the ModDB profile for the Tales of Fyrndell Tech Demo to be showcased as a mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The tech demo will be the first 30 minutes to 1 hour of the full game, and will be created to give a glimpse of the story, show off our AI, and display the technology we are working on for the full game of Tales of Fyrndell. We will not be showcasing a "tutorial level." It will be the full-blown introduction to Tales of Fyrndell, completed to perfection. Well folks, a few weeks back I told you we were entering development. We've got our first model concept WIP done, and I figured I'd share it with you all.
From our modeler Offspringy (whom I've worked with on past projects, and who produces outstanding products, always!), I present to you the modeled concept of the Trythian Light Archer:
which all stemmed from one of our concept artist's concepts:
As we begin modeling, mapping is set to start soon, followed by a very nice feature we haven't announced yet, which will add to FPRTS and act as a good funding source for us.

not bad, but i would say it needs some fixes on proportions.. the armsa are too samll (read: thin and short) and the head too big

Man, that guy looks kind of freaky, like a transvestite or something... With all due respect, the model looks nothing like the concept art. Where in the world did that patch of hair coming out of the person's bangs come from? :S The face looks a tad scary, the arms look too tiny... I say redo it.
The model is a concept only, and is still being worked on, which is why it's called "Model concept".

The whole "bangs self conciously pulled down over one eye" thing is just....
well, it would be bad enough if that was a woman. When I read it was supposed to be a man I physically shuddered.
To elaborate - "it" appears to have the body and musculature of a portly woman (sans breasts) but a mannish face, with female hair.
Pretty confused as to the sex of it.
maybe he would make a perfect Hobbit archer then XD
