The Lowland General 2 is the conclusion for the tale of The Lowland General. It takes place sometime after Rise of a Legend and you'll hear a bit about The Hero of Mavet who isn't a hero to The Midlanders while the ruthless Lowland General is. It's an ironic poetry that the man/woman who saved Midland is actually called a villain while The Lowland General - who is unmerciful, ruthless and uncaring is hailed as a hero. This is Devron for you and you're scratching more of the surface now.
Like with The Rise of a Legend, your character can be any race and any gender you want but unlike Rise of a Legend - The Lowland General is always a character you assume the role of and not create. The Lowland General is ruthless and evil and as the player - you're given three choices in dialogue - Ruthless, Very Ruthless and Intelligent and Ruthless. So you can create three personalities for The Lowland General. Unlike Rise of a Legend - The Lowland General 2 hasn't got evil, neutral or good. You're either ruthless, very ruthless or smart and ruthless. At one point in The Lowland General 2, you come across deserters and you are given two choices - for them to be tortured in prison or for them to be killed along with their families.
The Lowland General gave you some perceptive of The Midland Army and the nobles in Tales of a Forgotten Realms, the sequel gives you even more perceptive of the nobles and high ranking people. Make no mistake - The Lowland General 2 is dark story with betrayals, twists and shocks. Those of you that played Rise of a Legend will also encounter familiar faces and locations and it's best you play through the first Lowland General before you play this one as you'll have more understanding of certain characters.
It's time to secure The Lowlands once and for all. Do you have what it takes to be general?
