Galactopticon is a single-player sci-fi comedy FPS starring a gang of hard-boiled interstellar pirates. The epic storyline will be supported by gameplay elements such as ironsight aiming and an RPG-style branching dialogue system.

Yes, I had to do it because some parts were just almost impossible to pass. And then if I'm almost at the end and I die, I start from the beginning, so it's very frustrating. =P

I just don't like that second room after coming out of the air duct, it looks very out of place. Other than that it looks awesome!

It definitely needs a lot of work in the gameplay department. The weapons and so on are top class, but while the map design is excellent it leaves a lot to be desired in terms of fun.

Yeah it's just a test map to give people something to play. I haven't worked on the gameplay part of the test map much, i just threw some enemies in it an called it a level.
Don't worry though, our real maps will be better in the fun and gameplay department :)

I'm quite unsure about the voices, for the italians it certainly fits, although the speaker voice at the beginning is both, funny and unfitting, so dunno
also dunno about gameplay, imo the enemies are placed a bit odd or they just run one after the other in front of you, would be cooler if you hide behind obstacles and other objects
btw: haha, anyone except me recognized the mask on the table at 03:26 :D
why didn't you find the Colt/Magnum (i forgot how it's called). it was hidden in that lil' garden in the beginning :P

Footsteps are always there, you always hear them.
That one sound really defines that the game is a sourcemod.

Loved the level design and the action really looked fun. I'd just change the HUD, it looks way too much like Half Life 2's.
I'd like to see more variation in enemies. It looked like you were attacking an army of clones (unless you were attacking an army of clones?).
I was worried about the weapons doing too little damage as that's a common mistake with source mods which just makes most of them boring, but i watched this video, and am now excited, I can't wait to try this :). Good luck with the mod.
I have to ask as well, is the A.I improved over the normal Half life 2 style idiots, or will it just be the same :\? I know you have to employ heavy scripting to get it anything better.

At some points I think you need to decrease the amount of smoke you put in - it obstructs the view of the enemies.
People need to make more Sci-Fi mods and game developers need to develop more sci-fi games, because this mod be bitchin'!
