Galactopticon is a single-player sci-fi comedy FPS starring a gang of hard-boiled interstellar pirates. The epic storyline will be supported by gameplay elements such as ironsight aiming and an RPG-style branching dialogue system.

Are there sights and a scope?
There appears to be some sort of iron sight. It looks plausible that they may add some kind of sight though, the top of the gun looks capable of optimization.

Why three barrels? Do they fire separately or have secondary fire?
2 Barrels. And me loved Duke Nukem 3D 3 barreled machine gun. ^^
The top thing is a flashlight.
The 2 barrels are there just cause they were in the concept art. But since it's a plasma-based weapon, we can just say it helps distribute the heat for a greater ROF.

Very nice. Seems like the barrels are placed to really minimize muzzle climb. Also looks like it weighs a shitton, but hey, it's awesome, like all the other guns you guys have put out so far.
It looks like an SMG shot gun.
