I decided to do a very, very big step in the development: I contacted Skyloader, author of Cut X-Ray project (listed under SoC mods) and he gave me the permission to use his and rus_phantom's .dif patcher. This patcher allows me, together with IDA, to change any .dll present in the game, without unpacking and editing it in Visual Basic (the most sensible option, but I have no knowledge on that), so with very reduced times.
Of course, there will be some minor changes, so nothing like the fabulous CoC mod, but I hope that with the time some nice ideas could pop out.
Maybe you could even see in game some thingies of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2...
