This device can give you coordinates (REAL coordinates from real maps), Altitude (REAL altitude, not in-game), Solar time, UTC, it has an included compass, so it gives you direction and Azimut, and a laser rangefinder.

This tool is useful for planning treks in the Zone, even if it seems nearly meaningless in the game. It has been implemented for incrementing the microgestion aspect of the game: with this for example you can calculate how many stamina you will consume during a trip, and the real coordinates can make you see in real world where were you in the game. Thanks to guys in stalker-2.ru for having created this and myself for the retexturing (ugly).
