*IMPORTANT NOTE CONCERNING DESURA*: Desura should work now, so long as you download the full installer instead of DL/installing through Desura.

Note that the full change log is very, very long (>90,000 characters). It will take some time to read but it's worth it.

Should you decide to download this, please be sure to read the installation info, which is in a separate "readme" file.

**Note**: There's a mistake in the install info. "Assault" should be "Harbor" instead. You're not missing a level.

**IMPORTANT Note**: Do not use the in-game mod loader to load the mod, as it does not work properly for DLL mods. Use a modified shortcut or the CryTools launcher.

-New blood effects added for all weapons, including explosive direct hits.

-Increased player ammo capacity for most weapons.

-Added High Velocity Ammo to SMG.

-Added Armor-Piercing Incendiary ammo and Tranq ammo to SOCOM.

-Added Incendiary ammo to the SCAR itself.

-Added new types of 40MM GL ammo to both assault rifles. These include seven colors of smoke, thermobaric grenades, singularity anti-tank grenades, nuclear grenades, and flechette canister shells.

-Added "Tactikill" attachment to both assault rifles, makes Tactical attachment kill instantly instead of putting enemies to sleep. Note: Not a replacement. You can choose between "sleep mode" and "kill mode" in game.

-Added FRAG-12 and Slug ammo to the shotgun.

-Added Armor-Piercing Incendiary ammo and Silencer to the DSG-1.

-Gauss Rifle now capable of destroying all vehicles. Also added Anti-Tank ammo to do it more efficiently.

-Firepower of Hurricane significantly increased.

-Added Barret M107 .50cal Sniper Rifle. Courtesy of Fortran, this is perfect for heavy-duty sniping activities. Has M33 Ball, M23 Incendiary, and Mk211 HEIAP (anti tank) ammo types.

-Added lock on, fire-and-forget fire mode to the LAW.

-Added Remote Nuke.

-Repair Torch now functional in singleplayer.

-Armor less vulnerable to collision and splash damage.

-US Tank has SABOT, HEAT, and Canister shells.

-Added Canister shells to APC's, and missiles are now guided.

-VTOLs faster, added AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles.

-Helicopters are now highly vulnerable to direct hits to the engine from the M107 (with Mk211 ammo), Gauss Rifle, and LAW.

Im using DESURA and when I click on the 'Full Tactical-Expansion V1.1 Installer" nothing happens.Any idea whats going on. Im new to DESURA so I dont know what to do. Also, even though I have uninstalled Crysis it still shows up when I click the play button. The same thing is happening with The Tactical Expansion Mod. First time around I installed the first version (Tactical Expansion Mod) and when it was done installing and I clicked launch I got a black (like the one before the Crysis intro starts) and then it went back to the desktop. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, not sure why it would get choppy with the mod, I'm not having that issue and my machine is fairly old. It's possible the C++ might help, I do seem to recall needing Visual Studio in order to run the mod correctly but I could be misremembering. I know it was free, whatever it was.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried all of the C++ downloads, still my game is choppy. As a side note, I have the version 1 on this mod, that means that I should have the M107 in the game right? I am going to download the v 1.1 installer, is that the actual mod or a support for it? I've tried to download it before and apply it to Crysis but I get an error. Error 1334, something about the Sounds~1 something....... Not sure what that means... I'm going to fool around with the files.

If you've downloaded TE v1.1 and have the game patched to 1.2 or 1.21 it should show in the mods folder when you launch the game. Select the mod and hit the ok or whatever on that screen and the game should restart. Once it restarts, the mod is enabled.

Some things I've found: The repair thing screws up your ability to pick up other weapons. Don't grab it. Also, the menus on the SASS sniper rifle bleed over on each other so you can't see what you're selecting. This only seems to happen if you have any of the alternate weapon pack loaded.

Thanks for the info, but I made sense of it all and got it to work last night. But now the game starts out fine and then gets really laggy. Not sure what the problem is....

I have a gateway p-6860fx laptop, it ran the game on very high everything fine. Now it is chopy on low. Not sure what the deal is. I played Crysis for an hour last night and I'm stil on the first half of the first mission, that is how slow it runs. I did have a msvcp100.dll error but that just went away. I have no idea how. I did a search for msvcp100 and nothing can up on my computer, it might really not be in the computer. So I downloaded on of those C++ things from Microsoft, I guess that should fix it.

Right now I am defraging my hard drive and I have done a couple other things to try and speed my computer up. Any advice on speeding up a PC would be great. Thanks guys.

Can you use the task manager while crysis is running and see what it is utilizing, you may be able to merely change its affinity and priority to get it to utilize more of your pc.
