TA (Tactical Assault) is a full modification of UT3 which will focus on tactical gameplay, combining arcade style and speed; while utilizing the immense power of the UT3 Engine. The gameplay will be based on squad based team play like top first person shooters such as COD4, Counter Strike and TO:AoT, while still capturing the one man army feel of a Rambo Film! It will pit the Strike Force against Mercenaries in intense round based objectives and stunning scenarios. Tactical Assault offers a wide variety of modern weaponry and beautifully rendered maps. We are hard at work producing new maps that give the right feel for the game, they will reward team play while still allowing opportunities for individuals to shine and capture their glory. If you love action-packed first person shooters with great community involvement, then stay tuned.
Late May Update
Just a small update on our progress for the last few weeks. Posted by AngryPenguin on May 28th, 2009 digg this super bookmark After a small lull in activity on TA the work is now ramping back up as we continue to work towards getting an early version of TA complete. Things have been a little quiet recently due to the proliferation of exams around this time of year, hopefully in a few months time it will all pay off and the team will be even more qualified than before! Nizza has now begun work on another Special Forces character model to follow up his excellent Terrorist model and the early shots are looking very promising. We also have a couple of new guys who have recently joined the team who are working hard, Spooki3 and REDPlague are working on some art for the HUD and MrFred is giving some more support in the animation department to help keep things moving. InT-2k - an experienced coder - has also joined the team to help out with some of the networking code, to ensure that things run smoothly online. See you on the servers,

Mosin rifle is too old and would never be used in a modern combat scenario, which is the feel we are trying to give.
