Beta Patch 10 has been released! New features include additional difficulty options, another Cyberspace finale, 20 more text logs to further expand the story and more improvements. You can now achieve up to 5 different objectives in a single playthrough, to customize the ending even more.

System Shock Infinite is currently in late beta and includes 10 new levels set in Cyberspace, with 4 storylines to unlock, new characters and cinematics. Play it on Steam, or update your GOG installation with SS2Tool. Check our new extended trailer, or the classic one!

System Shock is a game series of it's own, it was made waaaaay before Bioshock, so it has nothing to do with Bioshock, unless Bioshock took some pointers from System Shock (like the powers, implants and the abilities)

In the final stage of SS2, Shodan uses a sci-fi device that's basically Elizabeth's power. She rewrites reality. In the mod, you bunnyhop between different versions of the ship just like in Bioshock Infinite you would travel dimensions.

So i'm guessing all hope of multiplayer has been thrown out the window? Before i read that it was somewhat possible with a few changes in the intrface folder. But when i try to start a multiplayer game, we get forced into a single player game. If thats the case, it's a shame as i loved playing this game with friends.

It was developed for singleplayer, but the barebones multiplayer structure can be brought back (menu, level changes) if you are willing to playtest it. Most probably, the intense scripting would either only work for the host or not at all in multiplayer. PM me if you're interested in working on this mutator, when the final version is released!

I'd be interested in coop compatibility also, however I wouldn't have the time for proper playtesting unfortunately.

Okay so I'm a little late to the party and haven't play SS2 yet but I have it on Steam and saw about this mod from a link there and thought it would be cool. I was able to install the mod fine but in order to play through the original part of SS2 do I need to remove this mod first? That seems to be the case after I started it up.
Also what is ADaoB 0.3?

If you've run the mod with the game's integrated mod tool, FMSel, then you can just disable the mod and play vanilla. But if you installed the mod quick and dirty, directly on top of the original game, then you'll have to reinstall it all. Also you would have to start a new game, to either restart in vanilla or infinite.
