Sword of Damocles: Warlords is a A-Historical Medieval Full Conversion for M&B Warband. It is a Sequel and a improved port of the the Sword of Damocles Modification on Classic M&B. This mod is based around the time of the fall of the knight and the rise of the mercenary.

Sword of Damocles - Warlords(Test Combatant) v3.92f3 Patch By: Computica SOD TEAM 2011


This is the Sword of Damocles: Warlords 3.92 to 3.92f3 Patch #3 (3.92 Save Files Compatible).
Bug Fixes
*3.92f1
-Forgot to disable a script that doesn't work. If left enabled it can make whole towns disappear.

*3.92f2
-Send all prisoners dialog fixed.
-Buying troops from a lord has been fixed.
-Lords will no longer re-spawn in another faction's fief and attack an enemy when there faction is defeated.
-Temporary fix for Heraldic Warhorse(s) crashing the game.
-Translation errors have been fixed.

*3.92f3
-Fixed the "warhorse_b" in battle crashing.
-Chinese Translation Fix (by m1943)

Just so everyone knows this update includes the 3.92f1 & 3.92f2 patches. So to play the game all you need is 3.92 full & 3.92f3 patch.

The next release major release (3.93) will end up breaking save games as many features will be added and changed. But that release will not be due for some time.

It does work with the latest version of Warband. Just install the game anyway and make sure to let the game load when you press 'New Game' it will take a while for the engine to set the economy.

i got it ... i just go to control panel change the view type and added .exe so that it would read :p

P.S. your mod is great i liked it im hoping for the next update .. also would you put some entrench option while in the map ? and the formation and firing commands in the next update that would be cool :D

I can help to translate the mod to Dutch. (Thats the language they speak in Holland, Dutch Guyana, Dutch Antilles and South Africa =) I would like to contribute to this mod, as its awesome. The economical system is great, and I love the new helmets with horns and wings etc.

Add a better way to control your army across the map, without having to lead the army as marshal.... Like maybe make a map and you click where you want your army to go..... (Maybe a bit like the board game: "Risk")

I have to reconstruct the mod from the bottom up on the next release. This requires me to optimize and/or remove scripts that are to complicated to run with many other scripts at the same time. In the end it's a engine issue, but since I'm more experienced this time around I can find ways to optimize the code.

I have version 1.152, can I still run this or do I need to somehow unpatch the game back to 1.143? I mainly ask because when I try to run the mod, it runs fine till I try to start a new game, then it freezes on the screen with all the Swadian knights where it says "Launching Game..." Any help would be greatly appreciated, my friend highly recommends this mod and I am looking forward to playing it.

Thank you for the hasty response. No, that was not sarcasm. Although three days is not normally seen as hasty, in the realm of questions in the comment section three days is nigh upon instant. That said, my response is not XD. I did figure out the patience thing, however it was quite by accident. The day after commenting I re-installed the mod, ran it, and went to make a sandwich after selecting new game. This of course resulted in things working perfect. I forgot to reply stating this, or deleting the comment entirely. Thank you once more for replying, and not yelling or being a jerk whilst doing so. ^_^

I have 4Gb RAM and I can run the native just fine, so I don't understand the problem. If someone can explain to me how to fix it, that would be great. This mod looks awesome and I really want to play it.

Maybe a stupid Question , but u seem active enough to might help me..

Some mods ive downloaded dont work, some got a missing file and some are just too buggy, ... now what i can do with your mod (ive downed +installed 3.92 + 3.92f3 , i start warband, can do custom battles, but when i want to go campaigning it says Launching Game and than it freezes. i cant make a character or anything. and can only be terminated by CTRL ALT DEL.

do u know what i can do to play your (probably good mod) ? gr Kaampper. (if u can speak Dutch thats even better) :D

Don't know if this is something you've heard about, but I am currently the lord of the castle Grandlayne while being an adenian and Lunhiper, Pyelm and Stratana are trying to send reinforcements, and failing...these are the villages that surround and would normally aid Grandlayne by sending reinforcements. They now number in 30 to 40 "reinforcements from (insert name of village)" surrounding them in all, standing still, with 0 troops in each reinforcement squad. Whenever I talk to them, even if I say nothing but goodbye, they automatically disappear. The game has about a 1 in 4 chance of crashing when I talk to them as well, and rarely it will crash when I get near them.

Again, not sure if this has come up, but it is probably just me and if there's anything I can do to help fix this problem, let me know.
