As the work keeps piling up and the preview was not stable enough, today we are releasing yet another step in the staircase to stability, a release candidate.

These are the main features and changes:

  • Stability, tidiness and optimization.
  • A special emphasis on scene editing, entry points and AI movement.
  • New models and graphical enhancements, both in third person and strategic mode.
  • Six new music tracks by Vladan Zivanovic.
  • Localized to a whole lot of languages; CS, DE, ES, FR, IT, NL, PL, RU.
  • Even more balancing and corrections.
  • Menus and dialogs adapted to the Star Wars lore.

Even with the enourmous effort made lately in its playability this is a work in progress release, particularly lacking polishment.

Known problems:

  • Missing or placeholder models.
  • Bald women and face morphing weirdness.
  • Doesn't works on Warband or With Fire and Sword.
  • Graphic glitches when playing on DirectX 7 (FFP) mode.

but why in god's name haven't you made one about the old republic, somewhere in the time after KOTOR...
these are the reasons why:
1.more jedi/sith in all the battles
2.better looking armors (my opinion)
3.better factions > old republic, sith empire, mandalorian clans!
4.objects and weapons from KOTOR are easier to copy (i've played this mod and everything reminds me of KOTOR because of the similar graphics, hell there's even vibroblades)
5.if you made mod about old republic, and it was ported to warband, then you would have a better version of "the old republic" game that is FREE

Actually...That may be a horrible idea. Bioware has shut down many mods in the past that have to do with The Old Republic. For instance my beloved Old Republic mod for Neverwinter Nights was shut down quite quickly once word got out.

I read that you may port this to warband in the future. If you do so I suggest going with the old republic theme but keeping the same title for the mod as to not attract unwanted attention. I think it will be fine though because I think the problem was that D&D is very similar to the Star Wars RP role set used in KOTOR. Which posed a threat to Bioware's Knights of the Old Republic franchise.

I would also like to see a better way of using force powers implemented if at all possible. Each time I play this mod I find out something new you can do which surprises me. Total awesomeness nonetheless! You really can get a good feel of what it's like to be in a galactic war between the Rebellion and the Empire. Way more RP immersion then I could have ever hoped for.

Is there places to buy and sell contraband for a smuggler type character? That would be nice. How about random searches on some planets controlled by the Empire to be searched for contraband after docking? That would be fun.

Interesting, some of my reticences about WB stuff were about the module multiplayer hosting... I can be grateful if we found some supporters.

The no-online-playing nightmare it's redundant :-)

This is the greatest mount and blade mod that I have ever play good work so far i can't see anything wrong with it so you get a 10 and i hope your going to add more to it!
