Star Wars Conquest is a Mount&Blade; module which transforms a medieval world into the far, far away galaxy... with the same premises than the original game, this module offers an open sandbox where the player can do anything he wants. Based on a Galactic map and hundreds of planets.

The new version and its trailer have been released.

Posted by RevanShan on Jun 28th, 2010

Star Wars and Mount & Blade fans can now enjoy the new version of this wonderful module.
Travel once more to the galaxy far far away, now with an enhanced campaign map, new AI,
and a lot of new content. Better lasers and lightsabers, new items, Taris as a new location...
Check the disruptor ammo, and live the Galactic Civil war like never before.

Some locations' ownership has changed in order to follow the canon. Now Corellia and
Kashyyyk will be the focus of the war.

(Mod DB)

Note: For Mount & Blade 1.010/1.011

This Version Credits:

Swyter: Coding, some sort of modelling and rigging, scene editing, and Main Coordinator.
Revan Shan: Official betatester, texturer and trailer maker guy (and now mapper and uploader).
Thanks for supporting me every moment.
Without your suggestions and hole spotting this release could have been much, much worse. ;)
Motomataru: He made the new AI, now the troops only charge when there's a good reason. ;)
Barf: Thanks for the Super-battle droid and Taris building, you rocks. My friend. :P
HokieBT: Thanks for giving me an opportunity for continuing developing your mod, we miss you.
Thanks for your greatly heavily commented code.
SupaNinjaMan: Thanks for the Kamino models, at last they are in!

Absolutely right!

Too many people are not paying attention to what's been said numerous times before; this amazing team IS planning on porting this over to Warband, so...relax!

Seriously folks, calm down. This team's commitment to quality content, and on such a VAST scale, SHOULD be OBVIOUS by now. If they say that they're going to do something, then have CONFIDENCE that they WILL do it.

And they're CONSISTENT too. So what does that mean?

That means that they're going to do what they said they were going to do, which is take it to the next level (again!) and PROPERLY FINISH the mod for Mount& Blade.

Every time they have to answer these "...ditch M&B and jump to Warband..." requests, they're LOSING time working on following through with their promises.

Let these talented, dedicated, and hard working folks finish what they started, and give them a break (they'll have more than EARNED it) and they'll move on over to Warband!

That said...

Everything is looking GREAT.

Is there a way to implement sabertrails to the lightsabers?

Keep up the GREAT work, and thank you for your solid efforts.

I made this account just so I could ask if you guys would do regular updates because I have looked at all the dates for the latest news and chat about the final patch and warband port and I'm already anxious for the arrival to warband and am starting to think nothing is happening or something. Maybe I am just missing something and I'm not complaining you guys are amazing for making this but a update to reasure that it will be soon or is still being focused on would be nice. psst maybe a possible estimated arrival date?

Maybe on Warband. But I don't think it can be done here...

There appears to be a trail/blur effect on the maces and hammers in Warband during the attack animation. I think it would compliment a lightsaber fairly easily with minimal effort required.

Looking forward to the final release, thanks for your time and commitment.

But IF there's ANY way to get them in...!

You know, when I first heard about this mod, I was skeptical. Star Wars in Mount and Blade? What?

But this mod has surprisingly become one of the most awesome mods out there for the good-ole M&B 1.011. Everything about it, sounds and graphics and whatnot, all feel very Star-Wars-y.

That being said, can't wait for the Warband version.

Addendum: Pew pew pew

I have a proposal: In canon, the "lasers" you see are tracers, not bullets. So if you could program something to act as a tracer and not as a bullet, it'd solve our problem of lasers dropping like arrows, because you could make the actual bullet much faster.

Got really nostalgic when I heard the RotJ music at the end :)

Looks like a great mod, great work mod team, although I probably will never get Mount & Blade. :(

2 things how do I decrease the Empires relations without changing the rebellions because I accidentally use the increase relations cheat. Also you should really start thinking about adding the katarn armor(Were the armor that clone commandos used like in the game republic commando) all the versions of it. Great Mod

Hey, Big fan of the mod. I made my own clone faction and such. I know you said you werent going all out on the clone wars, but it would be nice to have the clone battleships, kind of weird how my faction leaders and patrols all have a basic fighter as their ship.

Anyway really enjoying this mod! can't wait for future updates! thanks alot!

I've just signed up on ModDB only to say: EXCELLENT WORK!! AWESOME MOD!! As another guy said "this is going to be the best Star Wars game ever :)"

And also I celebrate that you want to get it complete for M&B prior to WB, it's much more good to be able to play a perfect mod in MB rather than start again to play it buggy in WB (I must confess I'm not a WB fan yet, there are more mods for MB than WB)

So thanks a lot for this mod, and please keeo it up guys!!

Congrats on new release and thanks a lot for all your work.

As an old SW:Conquest player who haven't been following the forums for a while I wonder what happened to HokieBT ?

And does this mean that the mod will stray slighly from the original idea and we'll see more expanded universe material in the future ?

RevanShan Oct 25 2010 replied:

HokieBT left for personal reasons. Swyter took the lead, and I started to work as scene maker (right now, on the next version content, 99% of scenes are mine).

But I've been the idea guy from the beginning, so if there was a real concept which we could call 'original idea' I can tell you we are simply pushing it forward and making it better.

And well, taking into account that most of the primary stuff is finished... yes. You'll see more expanded universe.

Just a few questions:
Is there a posting of the upgrade trees so I know when I get jedi and such?

Also, Are there vehicles like AT-ATs and AT-STs?

ShamRock..make sure you get Mount and Blade...NOT MOUNT AND BLADE WARBAND...and no, there are no AT-ATs..I don't think that's even possible..for example, the only in-game vehicles on the battlefields are speedbikes like from Episode VI...but they are basically a different texture for horses...but then again I did see huge Elephants in a LoTR mod before so who knows...but I doubt the AT-ATs will have a different function like the elephants and be able to shoot lasers...

But maybe I'm wrong. That would be amazing though, but I love what we have so far.

I have a seggestions, have the options ista changed off, in cheat menu, replace the option to get just some mercs, insted have it so you can chose whatever troops you want, and put in more vehicles, I'm pretty confident that at least a few people want more than just speeders.
