Yes, that is much better than the previous model.
Also, I would like it if you could use higher quality models in general, as the games graphics suck. What I'm saying is that it would be cool if you could make it so that the whole game looks better.
Graphics aren't everything kid and I think the game looks good.

anyway playing m&b is absolutely great and funny.
and it is possible to include high quality models into a mod. ( just look at ww2: china battlefield!!)
It's sadly not as easy as that. The big problem is that M&B Engine can't handle a great amount of quality and one of the most frustrating things is we're constantly having to reduce the quality of our work in order to avoid those Error & Crashes and also need to ensure the mod can run on a range of different machines.
We previously stated our main focus for the next release is "High Quality", therefore alot of the content has been polished and improved to give a much greater appearance to the mod. how ever we are limited by the engine.
You guys should just modify M&B's engine to handle that stuff. Of course that is a lot more work and sadly can't always be done :/
Personally I like the slightly lower quality graphics of the current release, because I can run it on my three year old Mac Book while I'm away... :P Although, after cranking up the graphics on my desktop, you can hardly say it looks bad.
and you can hardly say it looks good! in comparison with "normal" modern games you see that m&b's graphics are backward.
We're already on it. ;P

Well, actually I agree with him. Don't get me wrong, my favorite game of all time is from 1998 and the graphics are kind of meh, but I would expect something released in 2010 to look better than that game, which in some cases, it does not. If graphics really don't matter, let's all just play a text-based game, eh? :)
EDIT: Of course the current version is shaping up to be much MUCH better. :D

Is this a Warband model ? Or is this the original Mount & Blade ?
For Mount&Blade 1.011. Barf also made a higher resolution one for the Warband port.
