Star Wars Conquest is a Mount&Blade; module which transforms a medieval world into the far, far away galaxy... with the same premises than the original game, this module offers an open sandbox where the player can do anything he wants. Based on a Galactic map and hundreds of planets.
A look at the new Imperial occupied world of Christophsis.
Ooh that looks cool.
That is like... spot on!!!
And wait for the shaders. The current "look" is a placeholder.
Just admire Vector's world-building abilities. :)
Shaders will spice it up quite a bit, you'll see,... folks.
**** yeah, THAT'S what I'm talking about! Nice work!!!!
This mod just keeps looking better and better every time there's an update. Terrific work!
Do you think that there's any way that a "saber-blur" effect can be applied to the lightsabers for when they're swung? I really miss not seeing one of The Key effects for making a lightsaber look like the ones we see in the films (and by the way, I applaud that you didn't give the sabers a pointed tip - the rounded tips are what most of us first saw growing up in the first trilogy, so I'm grateful that you're going for a more appealing tip shape).
Thank you for sharing!
Unfortunately the engine doesn't support the blur-effect, so e just have to go without it. Still funny as **** to tear rebels apart with a glowing stick!
We can't do the blur, but the stick-like appearance is much less obvious right now in the dev snapshot.
We've implemented "screen-accurate" blinking on the blade.
Is this just in M&B, or Warband as well? I thought Warband already had a sought of blur built in- could that be intensified or utilized in any way?
It is possible to do using particle effects. Just search for flaming swords on the taleworlds forums. However, I don't know off the top of my head whether the particle effect can accurately follow the blade.
Very nice. I love the blue colour.
I think I read in a old post that of they did it on warband they couldhave had the blur effect, Though yeah it is fun, but I sometimes feel awkward that the handle is transparent aswell. :s
It's really tricky to do that with a so limiting framework. :(
After thinking about it for a while I chose to go with real-transparent-glowing looking blades, even knowing I was sacrificing the metallic hilt for the greater good.
As you can read, complex... many hours spent on that kind of details.
oh man, thats epic, cant wait too shoot storm troops there
u gotta love urban planets somtimes
the planets are getting great upgrades obviously but, will we see improvements in other models as well, like weapons and armors?
You guys are still working on this... That makes me unspeakably happy :DDDD
This map looks great and all, but it plays like **** in game. It's like swordfighting in a narrow long hallway.
