SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron was a Hanna-Barbera American animated television series created by Christian Tremblay and Yvon Tremblay. The show ran in syndication from 1993 to 1995, when it was canceled. There were a total of twenty-three finished episodes. There were also four unfinished episodes.

The show was based in the fictional metropolis of Megakat City, which is populated entirely by anthropomorphic felines, known as "kats".

Chance "T-Bone" Furlong and Jake "Razor" Clawson were members of Megakat City's paramilitary force, the Enforcers. While in pursuit of the villainous Dark Kat, the two rebelled against Enforcer Commander Feral's orders to fall back and leave Dark Kat to him. The altercation resulted in Dark Kat's escape and Chance and Jake's jet crashing into Enforcer headquarters. Because of the accident, they were discharged from the force by Commander Feral and were required to work at a salvage yard to pay for their damages. Using junk from the salvage yard, they built an advanced jet fighter called the Turbokat (resembling several different aircraft, most notably, an F-14) and patrol Megakat City as the SWAT Kats. T-Bone and Razor keep their identities secret. Their methods do not endear them to Commander Feral, a brave and resourceful character in his own right.

SWAT Kats briefly returned to Cartoon Network on February 13, 2006, airing on Cartoon Network at 2:30 PM Eastern, with several of the season 1 episodes being shown in no particular order. This only lasted for one week, then Swat Kats was replaced by Ozzy & Drix in the 2:30 time slot on February 21, 2006. SWAT Kats is not currently listed on Cartoon Network's official schedule. The reason for SWAT Kats very brief and unannounced return to Cartoon Network is unknown at this time.

Hey Flanker, I agree as well with bringing it to the source engine, however, we are not looking for story based games. This will actually be a multi player and possibly a co-op.

There will be the following sides in Multi Player, depending on which map you choose to play.

Enforcers VS Evil

Swat Kats VS Evil

Enforcers VS Swat Kats

Evil VS Evil ( Different Enemies of Enemies )

Please do note that these are thoughts in progress. These ideas could, or won't fit into the game depending on what players prefer after we release the alpha.

I like the idea as well but have to agree with SinKing about moving to the source engine... if you are planning to make a story based game at least. Don't see anything about that yet. But great model of the Turbokat, it brings back memories.

If you plan on using the BF2 engine what can we look forward too? Which factions and such? Enforcers, Swat Kats, Dark Kat etc.

Good luck and hope to see more

"come to us" you said, but I dunno whatcha mean by that. Should I become a member of your site, or of your team, or come visit you? Can't do the teaming, cause I got my own peeps, but anything else I'll gladly do.
I believe this mod will look very good on the source engine, it has a look of its own and it would surely match the Swat Cats look!
