SWAT: Elite Force is a massive overhaul of SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate, making it into a more realistic tactical police simulator.

Post news Report RSS Elite Force Patch 5.1 Released

A new patch for V5 has been released, including some important bugfixes and new Speech Recognition features.

Posted by on

A patch is now available for SWAT: Elite Force Version 5. This addresses some critical bugs that were discovered after release, including a bug which made shotgun breaches not work correctly. Some longstanding issues from The Stetchkov Syndicate were also fixed, including a bug that made restrained suspects stand up.

A new SpeechCommands.md file was added. This lists all of the speech commands that you can issue in the game using the Speech Command Interface. And you're going to need it, because now you can report things to TOC using your voice! This has been a commonly requested feature and thanks to the help of kevinfoley, it is in the game.

We will be working on a second patch to Version 5 as there's more minor features that we want to add before focusing on the next big version. Exams are coming up, and we have been busy.

we had a LAN yesterday, with each of us using a fresh GoG Release Install and SEF 5.1 (same zip for everyone). We never managed to finish a single round as the hoster's game and thus the server randomly crashed during every session.
We could really not nail it down to something, we tried different maps and different settings like disabling the snipers. How can we help to debug this?

I'm currently having the same issue. Where would I get crash logs to give to you?

Your most recent log, which will contain the crash information, is stored in SEF/System/Swat4x.log

Here's the crash log drive.google.com/open?id=0B-0SZ78mVcGwVk0tdktjU2tVY2s

It seems that the crashes only occur when i yell at a suspect, and only in multiplayer.

The speech recognition isn't working. I've followed all the steps in the readme to try and get it working but the box saying "use speech recognition" is blacked out and not available to be ticked.
