THIS MOD IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO LEGAL ISSUES

It seems that due to a post made on 10-David and due to some of the content of the mod that a legal issue has arrissed and until the issue has been resolved I am unable to complete the final stages of the development of this "MOD", I will try and keep people posted on how things are going on the front lines of this battle but in the meantime I am working on a few maps for COD4 as well as making a few small mods for it as well...Cheers!

 

Description:
Created by a community based independant development team comes a new exciting add-on for the SWAT community, the new add-on will have a large amount of changes and upgrades to the game and will bring realism and fun back into the community. With the addition of several new maps and weapons the add-on will feature a all new anti-cheat system by "Rapher" and lobbies by "AlienAbducter" and the new line up of additions will also be joined by the hard edged in your face rock tracks of Canadian rockers "Bobnoxious" with the title track to the game being "Won't Go Quietly"...

Hellbringer Entertainment is pleased to announce we will be offering the community the chance to get involved in the development process of Take Down, we are now accepting signups for a community beta test which we will be choosing between 10-20 members from the community to join us in the final stages of testing. A: Yes, the Barrett M82A1 will shoot through 4 metal doors and still kill.

Q: in original SWAT4, when you move with shotgun, impact radius will increase to really unreal area (moving with weapon can affect on center of impact circle but can't affect so much on its radius) - my question - did you correct it? And if not, can/will you?
A: It has been adjusted slightly to not give shotguns perfect aim but it also allows you to atleast hit your target while running.

Your right with your arguments, but i must say that the running speed of original SWAT 4 is more a fast walk than a run ( if you are going to play COOP game mode, it is a tolerable speed. )

As fas as i understood TakeDown will be a Multiplayer Team Survival Mod for SWAT4 right ? ? ?
I am more than sure that the community will be dissapointed about your decision about not changing the running speed because many Team Deathmatch Players were criticising this factor of the original game.
People want a fast Game when they play Team Deathmatch.
Thats why SWAT4 never got the attention that it really deserved.
Coop players are satisfied with the speed settings but also would be happy if they could move a little bit faster during a dynamic entry.

As an old school Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Player i was always on the search for an alternative game to this very cool game series.
As you also know the Games R6 Lockdown and R6 Vegas have been more than a big dissapointment to the community. As a very active Clan in Raven Shield times (these times are over since more than a year ) we fought against many other clans and also changed minds about a next possible Game that could catch the Players and Clans attention. SWAT4 didnt get the acceptance in original Version because of the slow speed and because of not being able to move while leaning left of right at corners. Thats a fact !
My hope rised as i heard that brilliant heads ( you and and your team ;-) ) would bring out a promising Multiplayer Mod for SWAT 4 that could change these gamesettings.
Now as you say that you will not change anything about the speed i am a little dissapointed about your decision *sniff* :-(

The Game has fantastic graphics and can compete with actual Games on the market and is playable at decent Frame rates on regular PC´s , without upgrading CPU and Graphics.
It has so much potential , so i just hope you guys do it right and make the right decisions.

You could start a poll in several Forums ( even in Ubisofts Forums ) to get an idea about peoples minds about the Running speed of SWAT4 Take Down. Please just think about your decision.

That is the BAR but it was removed to make room for more realistic SWAT weapons and weapons similar tactical teams from around the world would use, it might be added back in as one of the updates after the full release is available but thats undetermined as of right now.

As of right now we dont have a ETA on when the mod will be available to the public, we are in the middle of testing and we expect to see it finished soon.

I'll be honest here guys, alot of changes have been made in the mod lately due to some of the content that has been added and we havent got a chance to test everything so their is no telling if everything is going to work as planned. With that said I am sure that most of the new features will work but until we do some testing in SP and MP we wont be commenting about much of the stuff cause we dont want to give you guys the wrong impression and we dont want the community to get all hyped up over something that may or may not be added so please keep the questions to a minimum and check the 10-D and Hellbringer forum prior to asking questions cause we have answered a lot of questions lately and its dragging things along for us, as for questions about content of the mod unless its something specific about what attachments are being added to what gun and so on its generally updated here first and I do note when a update has been posted generally so checking the mod profile is generally the best idea and if the answer isnt their its normally on 10-D...Cheers!

I've got a question about how the weapon customization works. When I was looking at the screen shots on the hellbringer entertainment website, I noticed the m14 had some sort of scope on it. While you are choosing your weapon can you also choose your desired upgrades i.e. a scope, or a silencer, or extended magazine, or does that come on it and you can't change it?
I've been following this mod for a while, but only recently got an account to ask this question.
