THIS MOD IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO LEGAL ISSUES

It seems that due to a post made on 10-David and due to some of the content of the mod that a legal issue has arrissed and until the issue has been resolved I am unable to complete the final stages of the development of this "MOD", I will try and keep people posted on how things are going on the front lines of this battle but in the meantime I am working on a few maps for COD4 as well as making a few small mods for it as well...Cheers!

 

Description:
Created by a community based independant development team comes a new exciting add-on for the SWAT community, the new add-on will have a large amount of changes and upgrades to the game and will bring realism and fun back into the community. With the addition of several new maps and weapons the add-on will feature a all new anti-cheat system by "Rapher" and lobbies by "AlienAbducter" and the new line up of additions will also be joined by the hard edged in your face rock tracks of Canadian rockers "Bobnoxious" with the title track to the game being "Won't Go Quietly"...

Hellbringer Entertainment is pleased to announce we will be offering the community the chance to get involved in the development process of Take Down, we are now accepting signups for a community beta test which we will be choosing between 10-20 members from the community to join us in the final stages of testing. PaVuK, As I said I may be able to fix the Walther WA2000 before release but it I am unable too I will add it into a update which will be auto loaded to your computer through the new autoupdate system we have included into the mod. It is just a minor fix on the model to get rid of the rip but I think I might have to rebuild the handle so it might take me a bit...hope that cheers you up a bit...lol

I will be totally honest here guys, running speeds isnt a major priority for the team. Right now our main concerns are things like the weapons and maps and once we have that stuff nailed down the team will be having a meeting to discuss further changes that need to be made to make the game more fun. I will mention that some of the community members are concerned about the running speeds but I am not going to make any promises on weather we will see a change made, it is basically a voting system we have when it comes to getting the ok to change things with the whole team being involved and general gameplay changes like running speed is what makes this game more of a tactical shooter than a run and gun blood bath so its actually something that we have to take into concideration when we are looking at changing things like that.

I think it is the most annoying thing that the running speed is too slow in the original version.
With running speeds like in old Rainbow Six Rouge Spear for example a dynamic entry is much more effective.

Actually it is a remake of Calypso but a few minor changes have been done to make it alot more useable in SWAT 4 such as the lower level has been tweaked for better CQB battles and the slots area have been changed so grenades can be thrown into the room alot easier. As for Border Town it is being added as well with similar alterations and we renamed it to 'Mexican Arms Deal', one of the major changes on it was we opened up a bunch more of the buildings to make it easier to go from one side of the map to the other undetected and things of that nature. I should have some screens of it to show the community in the next week or so and from their I am going to start working on a few other maps I had been working on previously like Gillie Park and Riverside Training Facility Building 2 which are loosely based off of Ghost Recon maps but you'll have to wait for more info about them...hehehe

5) in original SWAT4, when you move with shotgun, impact radius will increase to really unreal area (moving with weapon can affect on center of impact circle but can't affect so much on its radius) - my question - did you correct it? And if not, can/will you?

(I know that is too late to larger changes, but I have to ask :o)

and finally ... Thanx for this MOD, I looking forward to this like little child to Christmas :-D

The recommended system requirements are basically if you want no issues with hosting, playing in the large servers and so on. Its not going to be much of a change from original SWAT 4 graphically but we have added several features that may slow a computer system down if they are barely over the standard system reuirements.
