Mod cancelled. 1.2 and 1.3 will continue to be available and assets from the new version will be available once cleaned up.

As per a guest, apparently back up sights are called "Battle sights". Didn't know that, maybe I can use that for in-game text.

The only reason I deleted the comment is I don't like guests commenting on stuff as there's no accountability. If you want to say something please register and leave a reply, it only takes a second to do.

Nothing personal guest.

Sorry I thought I was logged in but apparently I was not.
Ok in the Army we told that they are called Emergency Battle sight due to the fact that on the F88s A1(AUSSteyr) the Swarovski 1.5x telescopic sight can not be removed and that it is the a part of the Upper receiver.

So if damaged we were trained to resort to the Emergency Battle sights until we were able to get another receiver or a new weapon.

No problem man, I appreciate the info.

I'll make sure I call it by that from now-on and include it in the text in-game for weapons that have battle sights or scopes that have attached battle sights.

Thanks :)

Also Swarovski 1.5x telescopic sight use a circular redicual,
which is designed that a person at 300 meters would fit inside the circle
and at 600 meters the person would be directly seen in the center of the circle.
Swarovski is not meant to be a precision sight but just something to help you measure the distance to your target better than taking a random guess or stab at it.
I also hope that little bit of information was helpful.

That is helpful, though I am going to be using reticules that someone else made. Then again I don't know if they did one for this type of scope so if not I'll have to add it. I'll try and keep your measurements in mind when I adjust the weapon for accuracy, etc.

Description

I know I said no updates until a month from now, but basically anything I mentioned in my news post I consider fair-game between now and then to post ;)

Steyr Aug A1, which will be a popular weapon among Freedom members.
As you can see it has some nice sight notches at the top, which means dual scope and iron-sight usage.

Model & textures: Unknown. Ported to CoP a while ago by someone, "NWM" I think.
