Im not going to complain anymore, its just I was so shot down when ever I even mentioned porting a model, from anything, so I just became like em.

I am just trying to look out for other people so they aren't flamed/banned, reported or anything.

I don't know why anyone should care actually, I think ported content is pretty cool, just not overboard/for fun. When it turns into an actual mod or game using a bunch of ports isn't cool. Companies are still going to rake in a ton of cash, people just do not properly credit or use without permission in other stuff that gives them a bad name

In this instance copyright isn't even an issue because it was made by Valve and is being ported to a mod that requires ownership of a valve game.

My perspective on copyrighted model ports is that if I'm downloading it, I usually own the game it's from, so the content is already on my computer, no harm in that.

From what I have heard, Valve doesn't give ***** about what you port, like hl1 to hl2 or hl2 hl1.

I see your starting to make the models NOD instead of LOD :D (Normal Definition instead of Low Definition).
