It's a weapons/npc/items/critters/maps/scripts/dialogues/fixes/car mod. All in one.

The main idea is: you can go through the whole game using only one class of weapons. If you want to use energy weapons only, now you can. If you want to go through the game with a melee character, just go ahead! The weapons and their parameters are changed, and you'll find more powerful weapons of every class as you go further and further through the game. The game is NOT so well balanced (it was hard to make it perfect), so you might find big guns very powerful, but don't forget they need many action points to be used. Melee weapons are not so strong, but they require less action points etc... There are some moments during the game, where scripts give you weapon/equipment/items etc. depending on your skills. Some shopkeepers will sell you nice equipment if you pass weapon class skill check (e.g. if you have 125% or more of energy weapons skill, a shopkeeper will sell you a big-bad-mo-fo energy weapon). The conclusion: choose your favourite weapon class and boost it through the game. That's the main idea of this mod. Other things in this mod (as bug fixes, dialogue changes etc.) you might find useful, too.

-28 new weapons, 4 new ammo types
-Davin levels-up now
-Many items positions (approxim. 70% of them) are changed
-Shopkeepers won't trade with you if you don't pass level-check
-No more stealing from the shopkeepers
-San Francisco, NCR (Westin ranch, Carlson estate) and Broken Hills areas contain more items now
-81 scripts changed or corrected
-26 dialogues changed (from slightly to drastic), 8 game text files changed
-New car, modeled, textured, FRM-ed and ready. It looks like the car that Mad Max used to drive
-bunch of bug/glitch/exploit fixes

Many other things, I can't write it all here, just go to the homepage (homepage address updated, but the page itself is still a bit messy) and read it yourself...

i think there is a script that changes the weapon damage. The first time i got CAWS, it had the regular 15-25 damage, but later it changed to 25-30. I noticed that other weapons also get better. It may have to do with what you tag. I tagged small guns so maybe thats why it happened. Railgun is ok, but costs too much to fire, gauss pistol costs 2 AP less per shot. Tesla rifle isn't bad, but simply no match for the strenghtened Gauss guns. Perhaps, the tesla rifle would get stronger too, if I tagged it. i wont be exparimenting though. Maybe in the future, but not now. Hey, why not add the MEC Gauss Minigun to the mod? In Fallout Tactics, once i got this gun, i unleashed total hell!!.

Thnx for reply, I'll see what's the problem with BB Sprayer.
I dunno why the gauss weapons are so mighty. I didn't change ammo and weapons stat for those weapons, nor for the Jackhammer... Though, shotgun shells cause more damage now (3/2) instead of 1/1. That might be the reason Jackhammer is a bit more dangerous than before.
Are you sure Gauss rifle and Gauss pistol are better than before..?
Gauss pistol=22-32 damage, ammo=3/2
Gauss rifle=32-43 damage, ammo=3/2
Energy weapons - have you tried Tesla rifle? With sniper perk, BRF and fastshot it should be good... Pulse rifle is for robots only! Other than that, turbo plasma rifle is the same... It should be deadly enough, but I dunno is it good for Enclave. From the Big guns there should be Railgun real killer. It's more powerful than gauss rifle, but heavier and 1AP more... If you don't like it, I recommend it for Marcus :)

i played this mod once, and once is enough to comment it. I noticed that small guns have been jacked up big time. The pancor jackhammer is MIGHTY
I managed to clean out the WANAMINGO mine with it with absolutely no trouble. The gauss weapons are deadlier then ever. Energy weapons are useless, since none of them even compare to Gauss Rifle. The Gauss Pistol rules this game since it deals 30 more damage on average, which means that it deals 63-78 damege. And with BRF (bonus rate of fire) and Fast shot, you get 5 shots with it. I cleaned out Enclave easily with it and thats without Sniper or other perks. I always had doubts which Gauss gun was better, but now i have no doubt at all. While the Gauss Rifle deals more damage per shot, the Pistol gets 2 more shots a turn which allows you to kill more enemies in one turn.
