It's a weapons/npc/items/critters/maps/scripts/dialogues/fixes/car mod. All in one.

The main idea is: you can go through the whole game using only one class of weapons. If you want to use energy weapons only, now you can. If you want to go through the game with a melee character, just go ahead! The weapons and their parameters are changed, and you'll find more powerful weapons of every class as you go further and further through the game. The game is NOT so well balanced (it was hard to make it perfect), so you might find big guns very powerful, but don't forget they need many action points to be used. Melee weapons are not so strong, but they require less action points etc... There are some moments during the game, where scripts give you weapon/equipment/items etc. depending on your skills. Some shopkeepers will sell you nice equipment if you pass weapon class skill check (e.g. if you have 125% or more of energy weapons skill, a shopkeeper will sell you a big-bad-mo-fo energy weapon). The conclusion: choose your favourite weapon class and boost it through the game. That's the main idea of this mod. Other things in this mod (as bug fixes, dialogue changes etc.) you might find useful, too.

-28 new weapons, 4 new ammo types
-Davin levels-up now
-Many items positions (approxim. 70% of them) are changed
-Shopkeepers won't trade with you if you don't pass level-check
-No more stealing from the shopkeepers
-San Francisco, NCR (Westin ranch, Carlson estate) and Broken Hills areas contain more items now
-81 scripts changed or corrected
-26 dialogues changed (from slightly to drastic), 8 game text files changed
-New car, modeled, textured, FRM-ed and ready. It looks like the car that Mad Max used to drive
-bunch of bug/glitch/exploit fixes

1) Fallout2: Survivor MOD has been updated to version 1.02c
2) French localisation patch RELEASED (thanks to Bewaltz)

There is a locker in Redding which "belongs to the Sheriff", it's usually locked, but get unlocked when one accept first job from the Sheriff. It shouldn't get locked after that, I think...
.223 pistol that uses shotgun shells??? How and where did you find THAT?

i sure will. Although i dind't go through all the areas. My car dissapeared and i was P.O.'d. I decided to put my stuff into the lockers in Redding. And there came another surprise. Once i returned to Redding, i wanted to reclaim my loot. But the locker i put my stuff into was locked. This was stranged since the door to it was open. Must have been a bug since open doors cannot be locked. Also, i couldn't lockpick it so i lost all my stuff, again.

Adding gauss minigun? Maybe in the next mod, LOL...
Tesla rifle and Railgun should be for energy weapons and big guns something like gauss rifle for small guns.

i just read that weapon parameters change as the game pogresses. You wrote it. So that explains the incredible strenght of gauss guns. I must then assume that you intended TESLA to be the best single shot rifle. It has 45-80 damage, but that will probably change, if a character tags energy weapons. Like 75-120 Damage. IMAGINE.....
