Working in near secrecy I've completed a few models for Survival Of The Fittest an upcoming HL mod. The point of the mod is to take out a lot of production time by releasing small versions as we go, instead of one gigantic version that might get shut down in the process of being made. Here's the basic premise of the mod:
Survival of The Fittest is a mod about...surviving. Poachers have been hunting animals for years and finally the animals are going to fight back.
-2 teams, Poachers and Animals
-Several Modes: Including Survival Of The Fittest
-Poachers Have:
-An arsenal of weapons at their disposal
-3 different classes
-The Advantage of Long Range Weaponry
-As a poacher the way you kill is of the utmost importance. Too much of a body shot and you won't get paid enough. Each time you kill an animal you get money based on the skill of the kill. You can then purchase new weapons and armor with this money.
-Animals Have:
-Animal Speed, Strength, Stamina. Heightened Senses!
-Several different animals including: Kangaroo, Cheetah, Gorillas, and Rabbits.
-As kills are gained animals also gain evolution points. When enough points are reached an animal can raise their levels of power, strength, speed, etc. based on their animals natural ablities.
Many different and new features are going to be added as well, but for now this is all that will be posted up!

yeah i love it! I think that if done properly, animals in a mod can add a really great depth to it (just look at things like NS... sure, they're not technically *animals*, but they're kinda beasty things :P)
Killer Rabbits? unless they are from Monty Pythons Holy Grail, I'm not buying it...
And that knife looks almost exactly like the knife from Natural-Selection by the way.
the rabbits aren't quite killer rabbits, as i'm not sure if they would be in in it reality, and the knife is based of just a basic knife used for hunting. any comparisions are accidental
