Suicide Survival is a Mod of Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. There are two teams so you either play as Survivor or as Suicider. The goal for Survivors is to stay alive (duh!) and to spot the Suiciders before they can get close enough of to you. They have the book “Gardening for Beginners” by Barbara Bush as a self-defence weapon. The goal for Suiciders is to sneak up close enough to the Survivors so you can blow yourself up. Suiciders play as shrubberies in a map full of shrubberies thus blending in with the enviroment. If they dont move you dont know which one is being played by a player. The game doesnt have a goal currently other then being simple team deathmatch. However its planned to transform it into a round-based survival with a time limit.

Description
This is release 1.1 of the HL2 mod Suicide Survival.
Most importent changes and features in the new version:
- New scoring system:
Suciding without killing someone gives you one death penalty.
Succesfully killing someone as suicider gives you no death penalty and one score point aswell as one team score point.
Teamchange gives you one death penalty. - Suiciders are now a bit slower then Survivors.
- Suiciders now have a special speeding attack which makes them very fast for a short period of time.
- Suiciders now have third-person view.
- Suiciders now can silently sneak around.
- Survivors have now taunts aswell.
- They flying books are faster now and are more affected by gravity, keep that in mind when aiming.

Perhaps for mappers you guys could add specific (and a large amount of) models people could choose and mappers could define which models the suiciders pick (either a list, random, or fixed)?
i didnt really want to look at this becuase i never really play mods for HL2 anymore but this cought my eye i thought it was like they S team suiciders) would run across a field and the suruvvors wouldnt try to get blown up but this is cooller ! elemnet of suprise they are crosching and then theres 1 guy left and then the attack of the bushses ! and then bam !
If ya want this mod to be anything as good as "Barrel mania" of which its derived from ya need to get rid of the "terrorist" sounds and make the explosions far smaller. ATM ya can kill people a mile off.

I know you've put a lot of effort into the new version, but I prfer the older version. I think that all the new sound effects are a bit too much and scuciders should be faster than survivors, but the new "book gun" phycis are good, but no zoom :(. Also the scucider jump height isn't as good as it used to be which means you never get those mad moments when a scucider has been spotted and runs like hell over anything in their path. A good update is the ability to switch between 1st and 3rd person view, which helps the scucider get a different angle view without haing to move. Finally I think that the new maps are great and offer a huge variety of choice!
Yes you are probebly right with the new taunts. I'm also a fan of less is more so in 1.2 this will be simplyfied again.

Right....bit of an error when playing!
I installed the right files to the Sourcemods folder, but if you've used Source Sdk Base Orange Box, you will know the main menu with the Video Stress Test, Options and Quit, with a picture of Half Life 2 - The Lost Coast in the background.
Thats the problem.
Whenever i start up Suicide Survival 1.1, it comes up with that exact screen and nothing else.
Im redowloading the files, if it happens this time, ill let you guys know.
