It's early 21st century. A company known as 'Nova' make a huge leap in profit and decides to extend their research into the less ethical (and legal) parts, including areas of genetic research and weapons development. They manage to form a serum that alters the hereditary characteristic by using a set of viral lifeforms. They inject it to some involuntary human test subjects, and the consequences are radical. Some control groups gain inhumane reflexes and an evident increase in muscle mass, but the downsides are to big. Catatonia, explosions of violence and even coma beset the excess. Nova's scientists decide to enter another course: physical enhancement and cloning. After a long road of unsuccessful experiments they manage to create a fully functional, genetically enhanced clone. They train him for a year under the influence of drugs, and when they're finished, they determine to put him to the test. But every decision has it's consequences...

Well, yes. By now, we have been around for quite a while, but as many of you don't know about Subject 311, I thought I'd introduce it to you :)
Subject 311 is a Crysis modification focusing on giving the player the option to choose his gameplay style. What we want to deliver is an intriguing story as well as fun and exciting gameplay.
As story goes, you step into the shoes of Subject 311, a test subject of the multimillion dollar research company Nova.
When you wake up inside the great complex, you flee the inside and find yourself on a huge tropical island. What's next is up to you, but in the end it's all about escaping the island, and with it, Nova.
