AT 30,000 FEET... you are almost 6 miles (9.7 km's) above sea level. The human body is not made for these conditions. Temperatures can plummet to -60F (-51C), the brain is starved for oxygen and each step is a new experience in pure agony. It's difficult to breathe. It's difficult to think. It's difficult to move. And you still have to endure another 444 feet (0.14 km's) to get to the peak. So much for the good news.
STORYLINE: SURVIVE the SUMMIT ...The rebels are losing the battle against the strider onslaught that keeps growing. To help turn the tide of war you need to destroy the source of the Striders. That source is at the summit of what the rebels call, StriderMountain. There is only one way to get into the mountain geography and it's extremely dangerous terrain. The danger proves to be too much and you are forced way off target. Now, you must fight your way through the Combine Mountain Base Camp because it's the only entry to the mountain. As Gordon Freeman, you must survive the summit and destroy the source of the Striders.

What in the earth you have to do at the end of the Garrison map? I have access to those 2 buggys, what next?
Drive through the gate between the guard towers. The gate will open automatically.
1)The music volume is at "0" and it is still loud. This is a common problem and I suspect it may be the fault of the Source engine, but if there is a workaround it would be helpful to include that info in the readme file.
2)Some of the textures are too low resolution.
3)Very monotonous: I am at the second point on the roadmap and I am bored now.
I will try to play a little at a time to finish the mod. If it is more of the same from "DUE NORTH" through "SUMMIT" I will stop playing and score it. I might play the entire mod even if it is just more run-and-gun, because I am a mod junkie.
Here is how to silence the music: all the music is in \Strider_Mountain\sound\music\sm. Make a new folder in 'sm' and move the contents of 'sm' into the new folder. I am surprised that worked.
Oke im gonna say it a again sounds still glitchs out so make a fix stop ignoring this and just do it really i like the maps but I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR WHAT THEY SAYING
I would really like to fix the sound problem but there isn't a lot I can do because I don't have anything to work off.
Not one person has posted a console log, so I don't even know where to begin. But I promise that the sound bug will be my top priority once I have more information.
The best place to post the console log would be in the Strider Mountain forums, but you could post it here if you prefer.

Thanks for the info m_od. I did notice your reply a few days ago but it would take weeks to change all of the sound entities in every map. I would first have to create the script file, then go through all of the sound entities to find out which ones need changing. There are hundreds of them and I would need to go through them one by one and compile all of the maps again. Unfortunately I only had time to fix the bugs which people have been experiencing and I'm planning on releasing the final version of SM in a few days time.
I forgot to mention that I've posted a fix in the SM forums for the voice bug.

Usually you just have to try every door/switch until script makes something to happen.
