Based on the games of the same name by Capcom, featuring 1-on-1 fighting and including the following features;
-New plot/story based around Ryu from the StreetFighter universe
-16 new player models and enemies from the StreetFighter series of games
-New sound effects and music
-New Particle FX
-New Maps - 16 fully destructable fighting maps with multiple fighting area's
-Brand new hand to hand combat system that allows blocking and counter attacks
-New animations for each of the characters based on their particular martial arts style
-Unique special and super moves for each of the characters
-Unlockable extra's

Brand new play modes:-
Vs Mode - Fight as any character against any other character you wish,
Story Mode - Fight your way as Ryu through a brand new story,
Rage Mode - Fight your way through alley's and streets as any character in the same vein as other classics like Streets of Rage and Final Fight,
* More than 15 new characters taken from the StreetFighter universe,
* New animations for all the character including some of their old signature moves,
* Brand new levels for each of the charactrers,
* Advanced AI,
* New music and sound fx from the streetfighter universe,

Hama right click on your max payne 2 and click properties then put it at the end of the target box so its e.g. "E:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developer then it should work..
Glad to see you're taking care of this where you can, Aztec. It really is a horrible thing when a mod is released and support for it just dies.

The -developer rename thingy rly doesn't work...ive tried everything on my desktop shortcut of maxpayne2
ive tried : MaxPayne2-developer, Max Payne 2 -developer, MaxPayne 2 -developer..etc. etc.
nothing is working :S it still jams at lvl 1 of story mode ( Vs Dan )
could someone plz tell me what im doin wrong ?

I don't think it's because u have Windows vista, becuz i have Vista Ultimate also :p
and it runs perfectly on mine.

The only time you will get knocked down is when you die. Sadly its the way Maxpayne 2 works. Same thing happens in the original game.

Not sure on what the problem is as I haven't tested it out on vista myself. Does the normal game work properly or only with the mod? Does anyone else get this problem while running vista?

The error is a slight oversight on my part but you can fix it by adding -developer in your maxpayne2 shortcut on your desktop. That will get around the problem with the fight with Dan in Story mode. This will be sorted out in a forthcoming patch.
I've written up a brief players guide which covers the basic's, modes, problems and solutions and a guide including a complete listing of all the characters moves and how to access them.

Hey guys, i've been playin the game for like 2 hours now and i rly cant do the story mode :(
the rest is ok and working perfect, but when i try to play story mode this story comes about bison and so on
then u get to fight Dan, at the Versus screen when loading the game closes and shows this error :
