Progress is still chugging along. Yes, it's pretty slow, but it's going. I just wanted to say that I have a few talented people helping me out, and am always looking for more!

Currently, the big ones we need are a coder and animator. I need a coder to code in some new weapons and a working third person camera system. We COULD use the default half life 2 third person camera, but a dynamic camera would work better I think. I guess it depends on what we can get and when. I have a few melee weapons. As for the animator... well we kind of need a full range of animations, including walking, running, wielding several types of weapons, attack animations, jumps...
it would be very good if I had access to a mocap system, but sadly I do not.

If I can't find an animator, I may do them myself. We are also looking for more mappers, modelers, and texture artists.

New concept are will be up later and I will show off a monster design or two. If you're interested in helping us out, we're ready to get this mod going! Send me a PM or email :)

No no, it's not dead. Progress is slow because of school, and the trouble of getting the third person view working correctly. I can assure that it is not dead though :)

Great Mod! Looks like you have a lot in your head at this point. I also have a quick question, I'm making a mod of my own and was hoping you could give me some help with a third person camera. I know sv_cheats 1 then thirdperson but i can't get the character animations to work, it shows the T-Pose.

Yes, like I said, none of the maps I have shown so far are going to be in the game. Everything, including the character animations, cameras, model, were done in Hammer. I basically whipped up a quick test map to show that I could do it. I have coded a third person camera into the engine now, so I don't need a million triggers in my map. I'm still planning on doing the resident evil styled cameras, but a majority of the game will be done with a Gears of War styled view
