What is SteamPipe and why should you care?
Valve has put together a FAQ that should answer your questions.

But the important part is, the mod should now work!

A number of people were getting errors or just a blank screen when booting the mod, this seems to be the cause of these problems.

The fix required edits to the gameinfo.txt, accounting for the new location of the Half-Life 2 files and the new way of distributing them.

I've replaced the files in the downloads section with the updated versions. If you've been having problems, just delete the old "station51" directory and install or copy in the new download, and it should work.

Hmm, this is an odd bug. Maybe try and verify your HL2:EP2 cache? Right click on HL2:EP2 in your Library, then go to Properties>Local Files and click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".

Did that, it said "All files successfully validated", ran the mod, and, what do you know? Didn't work. Welp, I'm stumped. I can run normal HL2 mods like a breeze, but EP2 isn't going to let me have fun.

Hmm, I can't seem to find a solution. But you can still play the maps by copying them to Episode 2 and manually starting them.

Copy the "station51_1.bsp" and "station51_2.bsp" files from the "\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\station51\maps" folder into your Episode 2 map folder, located at "Program Files\Steam\steamapps\*YOUR STEAM ID HERE*\half-life 2 episode two\ep2\maps".

After copying the map files over, start Episode 2, open the console with the tilde (~) key, and type "map station51_1" without the quotes. This should bring up the map.

If tilde doesn't bring up the console, go to: Options > Keyboard > Advanced > Enable Developer Console (~), and check this box to enable the console.

This should let you run the maps. The only difference is it will run the Episode 2 credits at the end instead of mine, but you're not missing much.

Sorry for the trouble, hopefully this at least lets you play the maps.

But there's a problem..I cant find my EP2 folder. I can run it and play it fine, but there isn't any files. I've tried clicking "Browse local files" but nothing happened. What the heck is going on ._.

I know but there wasn't a damn Episode 2 folder. There was no folder leading to any files. There is one now, but wasn't one before.

Thanks for this nice 2 sp-maps mappack, or mod, just how you want to call it. i see that some comments say its a short mod but that it isn't. Even when there are 2 maps its still gives quit a lot of gameplay time because the mapsizes are HUGE. It has a high quality although i have to say that the end (second map end) felt a bit empty. I know its inside the combine building so that could explain the emptyness, but the sewers before that felt also quit empty. Like you didn't put that much time and effort in to it as you did with what was before this point.

That said, it is a great mod with a lot of action.

Thanks! I'm going back and reworking the second map, I've gotten a lot of great feedback since the release. I agree it's a little sparse in places. I'm also reworking how I handle enemy spawns, to make sure they behave a little more intelligently and don't mob up in nasty groups.

I was pretty impressed at the start. The mod jumps right into the action with snipers, combine, dropships, etc. No tedious learning curve, since MOD-players are experienced players. The good design puts monsters below you, under you and make them flank left and right. After that the MOD sadly starts to decline. Before the zombie part you have to shoot the energy ball to unlock the door. There is no reason for that advanced security to be there and what makes it even more strange is that the gravity…
