This is a Total Conversion mod for the upcoming game Star Wars: Empire at War from Petroglyph Studios. It is a Starship Troopers mod, but it is much differnt then your usual brand of SST. For the first time ever fight on the ground, in the air, or in the silence of space.
Choose your side: The Mobile Infantry, or the Arachnid Army.Each side has the old favorites, and of brand new units out there. This mod will take all you know about Starship Troopers and blow it out your nose.

Allright now its time to announce the mystery render from last week.
Bug Battle Cruiser
Though it has not been classified, contact was made with one of these ships when the 45th battlegroup was ambushed and engaged by a bug battlegroup with 1 of these ships in it. The ship was thought to be a giant transport, until it let out a broadship and tore apart two destroyers in one salvo. The fleet managed to escape, but Federation Navy Command (FedCom) had a riot over it. Contact with this new ship was the result of the commissioning of the Geneva Class to combat it. The designation of a battlecruiser was only by its size, and firepower.

but how can they say its a BUG HUNT when they dont know the aliens yet and the only bugs are bugs
thanks thats one of the good questions i,ve been waiting to ask. also is the jungle spider from the CGI cartoon gonna be in this mod
Sorry drone but the statement from the movie Aliens "is this another bug hunt" was ment to be a refrence to the book that the director (sorry I forgot your name vv;) made all of the actors playing Colonial Marines read. But the two are not related. The director probly used the book Starship Troopers to give the actors an idea of what futer solders should be like, and I guess the book was closes to his vision of the marines.

Been a while since I done any modelling, making what we had of this mod was good fun, dunno if any of yous ever check the mod page anymore or not, but hey thought id leave a comment the hell!
you know the starsip troopers movie world and aliens world are togeather because in the aliens movie i hear them say its a bug hunt, that was even before they meet the aliens but i think this is cannon also could y include the bugs from the CGI cartoon seris like the jungle spider that was my favourite

WHY??? sigh, another good EAW mod dead.... this one interested me a lot considering its great potential. I wouldve loved seeing Roughnecks face off against arachnids. Its okay maybe someday a person bored and skilled enough to make a mod will round up some guys and make a mod based off SST. Sigh give it time, give it time.
This Mod could have been better if it was based on Roughnecks and the orginal novel by Heinlein, not based on the movie which Paul Venhover(dunno how to spell his name) made, he had little or no respect to Heinleins original idea.
Im sorry but is this going to be another one based off of that crap they call a movie. not to affend anyone but the movie Starship Troopers dosent even deserve the name. The book was too ... well they got the main charicters name right ;) Well you should go read the book it will change your mind on how things are in the SST univers (ya I know I cant spell worth crap.) But so far the ships are really good I like them keep it up
any chance of a mini mod style relase any time sone. ;)
