Here is a possible new corvette class. Codename Hammerhead but the official class isn't known yet. Current speculation has it roughly the same size as the Neptune Class Corvette but any other information on it's speed, weapons, and what role it will play in the war effort is not known.

i dont know how small but it feels small
but it also feels badass maybe corvette size but it could be bigger or smaller
imperial missile ship size which is bigger than a gunship (i think)
but it also definatly looks like it has a sturdy contruction\
finding places for ships is hard
I actually was considering a gunship. Add a couple of large guns and reduce it's size just a bit. I'll play around with it and see.

would be cool if this one could be a kind of heavy scout or something like that :)
Yeah I know but it is based in part on a SST Roughnecks concept & the final ship used in the series.
