However, we make what we can with what we have and we make it good :) The proof in pictures.
We begin by the long awaited SPAS 12, modelised by Damez

Those are not the only elements that we added within the last weeks, indeed, we principally worked on the gameplay.
To give you some idea, we decided two updates that are :
Among the other models in progress, we have some map elements, such as Atlantis control chair and console. Thanks our last recruit, Damez (For Spas 12 & map elements).
Then, to fill the lack of news (and what interest you much more, screens :) ), I speak in priority to a small part of the community, the mappers.
Maps are an essential part of the mod, officials ones like non officials ones. That's why some Beta Testers are launching a new project and are avaliable to help you to make your map.
Take advantage of a competent team to debug your map, but above all, receive advices to improve it at best.
The advantage for you, in addition to having better map quality, is that your map will be "approved" by the dev team and will be automatically added to the community updater. Your map will also benefit from the best tool to spread among StargateTC 2 players.
Moreover, a map approved by the BTs team is a positive indication of the good quality of the map, therefore more played in the game and on the servers
Contact us via the forum, on the "Unofficial work" French and English topics and create clear topic for your maps.
Noboby in this small team know other languages, so we can do this only in english or french.
From this new project will coming the screens of the future news ;)
Best regards

Earth gate adres is not true :(
awesome mod. i had a great time playing it, but sometimes its kinda empty. most of the animations are a bit stiff, but thatll improve with age. 10/10, if you continue to update it.
no problem, i'll be keeping my eye on this excelent mod and hope to see more in the future who knows with luck and a new next 4th generation h-l engine you could make a trilogy by 2012. :)
Thank you all for your feedbacks, especially to you Lucious. One can see you have been part of a mod, you know how work must sometimes be done on the inside of the mod development. :)
About gameplay, most of the devteam seems to prefer Action oriented gameplay. I would have prefered a more tactic oriented gameplay but democracy wins. On a side note, this gameplay decision could change with the modifications of the devteam member list (some don't have time anymore, others join us etc). I cannot just tell what is planned next unfortunately, even though it seems to be going towards arcade/action.
@ShadowFight0r: you do prefer spheric blast, don't you? Well maybe some of the other Stargate mods for Source will please you then. I cannot guarantee their blasts will be spheric but I think at least one of them has sphreic blasts. Just wait for their release. ;)
@Nokiaman: Look carefully, they are not the same. Anders could show you the various process that it took to build the SGTC2 P90. On the other hand, as all ingame P90 must be as close as possible to the real P90, they always end up being similar if they are good enough. Think about it. :)
P90 looks like ripped from GoldSrc
2nd part of my comment -- Now on to a more happy note, the work you guys have done so far in this mod is outstanding in my opinion, i find the fundermentel elements of gameplay much better than in tc first edition, altho if you wouldn't mind anwsering one question being, which direction of gameplay are you aiming for ? seems a slight bit in every direction which again is never good news for mods.
well i guess i've had my speech and will retire back to the shadows now best of luck on this great mod i can only hope it is completed.
This brings up a good point. It would probably be best for everyone if each of the Stargate mods had their own distinct approach to the gameplay.
Well well well, what to say, firstly i joined this site for the sole purpose of A- showing my appriciation for a mod well done considering its ONLY IN BETA 1 STAGE and B- mainly due to all the ideots i have watched post comment on this site since its beginning, i have always been a fan of the modding community and i also used to mod myself for bridge commander, that being said my first question is what part about BETA don't most of you ignorant fools understand hmm ? a game is finished when it usually reached 1.0 release standard, which means for those who can not seem to grasp the word beta, that any work below 1.0 stardard release is not the entirety of the given game / mod, aka as you see stargate TC 2 has still a lot of work to be done on it, well thats plainly bloody obvious don't you think hmm ? did they say this was the complete mod nope... did they say they where adding more to it ?? hmm YUP so which part of that don't you understand especially madddogg2020 since your so fond of calling people ideots hmm yup yup, well moving on, the other points i wished to make are mainly about the actual situation with mods, specifically the stargate mods, in my experience i find small teams work better than huge teams , why you might ask well A- theres less to argue about, B- less chance of ego mania LEAD designers , trust me i used to be one until i learned my lesson, and finally C- you know where everyone is at during the mods, now it seems to me that there be many stargate mods, much of which probably could be having smaller teams. thats just a little pointer from me, i been around a long time in the gaming community specifically sci fi genre as far back as the original Decent game etc etc...
i called the one dude an idiot for posting some retarded comment to shoelip. Because he obviously couldnt understand that shoelip was only joking. So before you go naming names, make sure you know what your talking about, hmm yup yup.
Now that i look, it almost seems as if i put that in reply to a different comment, i guess he deleted his comment right after i put that.
Oh and btw, learn how to use punctuation(ie. periods and such) instead of just posting one huge, barely legible wall of text. ;)
i dont like the staff blast effect...it was better in stargatetc1
