About this mod
Stargate Space Conflict is a total-conversion developed and published by Phoenix Interactive that aims to recreate the universe of the Stargate franchise into Homeworld Remastered (both series are represented). Modification in partnership with Tunngle and Stargate Network.
From an epic journey across the Stargate comes the story of human explorers. The universe is a dangerous place for such a young race, full of enemies and vile creatures. Which side will you choose ? It's all up to you. Play as Tau'ri, Goau'ld and Wraith. The modification highlights an exclusive original score, sophisticated graphics rendering technology, speeches, an immersive and realistic Stargate atmosphere, incredible features and more!
STATUS: In development. No releases yet.

As you may already know, one of Stargate Space Conflict's most requested feature was, since the very beginning, a full-interactive campaign. Over the past few years, we rather wanted to focus our work on the most important aspects (ships, planets...) of the mod. But with the release of Homeworld: Remastered, Gearbox Software gave us more flexibility and more opportunities for the future. That's why we are pleased, today, to officially announce that Stargate Space Conflict will have a campaign.

The campaign will be released in "Episodes".

We'll be honest, writing the story, and coding missions will take a long time. And we don't want to release the campaign in two years. That's why we will release the campaign in "episodes" each time a new release of Stargate Space Conflict comes out. We believe this is the best way for both of us. Our fans will receive (for example, not confirmed) one episode a month. It's like watching the show, waiting for each episode.

Our episodes will follow the story of the Stargate franchise (from the very beginning to Stargate Universe), in a chronological order. We plan to represent the most important space battles, starting from the last episode of season 1 (Stargate SG-1), and create new missions as well, between system lords or Wraith divided factions.

Writers needed

Recently we published a news about writers for Stargate Space Conflict. First of all if you're one of those who leaved us a mail or a message, no worries we'll give you an answer in May. Anyway, we'd like to hire Stargate fans in our association to synthesize episodes from the show (scenarios) and improve them so that our coders will be able to code the latter ones for Homeworld.

Thank you for reading!

We can't provide any release date yet. Gearbox hasn't fully released the "modding tools", we are currently making our own to start working on the mods =)

They will be, they are likely to first make an appearance as a NPC in the Campaign and then they will later become available in Skirmish mode.

I'm sorry if this is a silly question, as I have never really played homeworld before and I'm only interested in this mod! Is the campaign like an Fps game, or something.g similar, or is it all ships and in space.I ask because almost the first five seasons have very little ships or space battles. Thanks :)

Only space battles, but hopefully there will be cutscenes between each mission, so that you will enjoy that missing part ;)

Am I the only one curious about this... The poll picture just makes me wonder what theme they would have had for the next enemy after the Ori, if they were to have continued it.

They did Nordic (They could expand on them as they were only the good guys as a side race), Egyptian, Medieval England? What do you think WOULD have been next?

Maybe a sort of a Napoleonic Empire or something like that. Lol that'd be fun to see that lol

I wonder if they would have done Mayan/Aztec culture, that would have been pretty interesting too.

Aztec were Goa'uld, I can't currently remember the name of the episode or the Goa'uld in question but they are used. We'll think of something ;)

In Stargate SG1 with the "Crystal skull" episode they showed a sort of Mayan pyramid, though they used that one only for an episode.
