Dear community.
We have to warn you about something really important. You noticed that weeks ago we published a video about our OpenGl modifications. They enhanced the whole game isn't it ?
Truth is, someone playing on a 64bits OS with Nvidia graphics doesn't support it. Worse, it gives to the game an awful render and we don't want to see that.

You both know that the OpenGL enhancement represents for us a great opportunity. It was a sort of proof. Ten years later, Homeworld2 can be upgraded. Can you believe that ? We believed only slow computers weren't able to run it but that's wrong. Both Nvidia users on 64Bits OS can't.

Deleting OpenGL ?
We weren't thinking about it... But time has come. We both know that Nvidia represents more than 50% of graphics production in the world. We don't want this number to represents the amount of people who will submit a ticket in our website, saying: "Why my game is awful as hell ?".
Therefore, the first release of Mass Effect Reborn (We will try to correct it for our other mods) won't use the OpenGL enhancements we've made. However we may add it as a "Bonus content". The later can be activated by the player itself before running the mod.


Differences between OpenGL and 2.0 shaders plus ALD ?
2.0 Shaders and Advanced Light Design enable our team to work with Bump mapping possibilities and advanced lighting possibilities. In that sense, we can force the game to look realistic but the bloom realism, made with OpenGL won't be preserved. Only our ALD shaders will force the game to have a sort of bloom.

He actually made MOST of this by himself. If you look at the models between the two mods not many are identical.

this SG mod is grate cant wait for and update i would love to see working asgard, ori, ancient if not all the ancient then some of the more known ships like the orion or sumthing and if you have the time the destiny just for fun. if you dont have the time thats ok but would realy love to see the asgard if no other. keep up the grate work

I would like you to keep the Hiigarans and Vayger. I like to play as the hiigarans against the wraith. If you chose to remove them I would like it if you could add a second release with the Hiigaran/Vayger still in game.

I've just spent two hours playing. I have a few observations.

-First, the fannon Wraith ships are very cool, good work with that, so are the Tau'ri and Goa'uld ships.

-However the ships are not to scale, there are some minor differences from the original ships in the series.

-I hope that you will remove Hiigara and the Vaygr from future updates.

-Balancing is still a bit off. Daedalus-class carriers are a hellufa lot more powerful than in the mod. You should make them a lot more expensive to balance it out.

-The Daedalus-class has 4 Asgard Beam Weapons, NOT 2, which by the way are incorrectly placed on the model.

-It's a strong mod, it doesn't crash at every small thing. However it does crash when I want to exit from a match or when I won a skirmish with Hiigara against the Vaygr.

-Ship models and textures still need a LOT of work. But for starters it's pretty good and a lot of fun.

-Also correct your spellings and don't be afraid to capitalize. Instead of "Asgard technology 1" write something like "Asgard Tech Level 1" Looks prettier that way.

-You could also add a secret weapon to each race, basically a superweapon. Like the Attero Device for the Lanteans, an Ascended Ancient for the Tau'ri, Orici for the Ori, etc.

Keep up the good work and don't let this mod die like the first one.
