Ready for French ASFA E3!
Modeled and textured by Julian "EchoRed" Vinet & Thibault "Erayser" Testart
O_O
First moment I saw this image ... can't be ingame.
But apparently, it can ...
It's not Ingame. There's too much polygons to be added in the game. I mean, of course they can add this ship in Homeworld2 but few computers will handle it. That's why they said they still want to improve their model.
This model are now has how many polygons? You have optimized model?
Definitely too much to be imported into Homeworld2. Before the whole optimization we needed first to finish our model.
If you hod it the right way and make good lods it's definetly possible
up to 100-200k Poys is easily possible. But you may need a combination of HodEd 3 and 4. The Obj file needs to be divided into several parts and then imported in CfHodEd V3, because there is a limit of polys that can be imported with V3, but it has no shading bugs in there. After that you can use V4 to Hod the Turrets and other stuff.
By "too much", Erayser wanted to say that few computers will handle this ship. And as far as I know, he said on Skype that this model is about 275 000 polygons...
Holy! My eyes just got candy.
Thats beautiful
But you still be able to add his into the mod?
Would very much like)))
Euh vous faites un jeu ou une production hollywoodienne en fait ? lol
