After our first release we have all been working very hard in the background to fix all bugs that were been submitted by you, our community, and by the rest of the testing team. We have added a few things here and there, and we have improved existing components, but ultimately all in the name of making the game and how it plays even better. So, due to a heavy amount of hard work from the coding department to get this released for everyone, we are very glad to announce the 1.1 release of our Stargate: The Last Stand game which is now available for download on our Downloads Page where you can find both the full installer and patch version from version 1.0 for both server and client.



We would also like to announce that the donator highlights for the scoreboard are implemented - Developers are denoated by a hammer, and donators by a star. If you want a highlight on the scoreboard to show people you highly support Stargate: The Last Stand, please visit:

* Removed old special ability code and bind that was removed before initial release
* Fixed spectators taking damage and being able to be killed
* Fixed rare case where players could not spawn into the game
* Fixed flashlights staying after using the rings
* Dead players no longer trigger 'under attack' message
* Fixed defending team not being rewarded if the time runs out
* Spawn protection is removed when you take your first shot
* Fixed various small bugs with equip

* Made the Goa'uld objective notification sounds louder
* Added sounds to notify defending team when objectives are being attacked
* Added more distance sounds for weapons

Weapons

* Fixed P90 sometimes looking like it double fires
* Fixed Suicide bomb exploit
* Fixed staff world model blocking other staff shots
* Lessened the amount of energy used by each staff shot slightly
* Fixed G36 zoom bug after reloading
* Fixed suicide bomb showing 3 ammo
* Fixed inaccurate weapon description for P90
* Can now throw multiple C4 explosives before detonating
* Can now switch away from c4 after throwing all C4, and then back to the detonator later
* Fixed some C4 viewmodel animations
* Melee weapons now show 'slash' decal on the hit surface
* Fixed knife not making swing sound unless you are going to hit something
* Melee weapons now interact with physics objects
* Fixed AWP being much lighter than it should be
* Zat now stuns on first shot
* Zat rate of fire has been increased slightly
* Rate of fire increased on hand device
* Fixed delay when throwing a tac while being a kull warrior
* Hand grenades do slightly more damage
* Tac falloff (damage transferred to another player) damage has been reduced

* Added Kull Disruptor weapon attachment for the P90 that the Tauri scout can carry
- Degrades armor of the Kull (shows as P90D)

* Projectiles now get offset by view angles (recoil)

hand devices are far to op and well jaffa cant even use them at a stretch the kull warriors could but i have never seen it done

im a big geek sorry i just love the franchise and know far to much about it

Yeah that bothered me too. In the show, the hand device can't be used without a "protein marker" that's left only when you're a HOST to a goa'uld. But then I thought, why couldn't they modify the hand devices to accept jaffa too? :P Or perhaps they aren't really jaffa in the game, but actually gua'uld dressed up as jaffa! :D

A patch will probably take some time, new content updates will most likely include community content.

The closest thing I can estimate that we will be releasing is some prefabs for mappers to utilize our teleport rings, and stargate entities. This being the case, it'll provide more opportunity for community mappers to create great new stargate maps ;) This will probably be in the next few weeks

I've always said we're very supportive of the community and there's nothing stopping us from releasing official map packs with community maps, and updates with community maps in them.

I can't give you estimates on when patches or major updates will come as this is a free time project of ours, which is something we don't have a whole hell of a lot of anymore :-/

I play The Last Stand much times,but with only three maps it is not so fun,if you played long.
