SG:R is a multiplayer half-life 2 modification, set after an invasion of Earth by the Goa’uld. Earth was subjugated over a very short space of time, due to the incredible rapidity and brutal force of the invasion. However, a resistance quickly developed. Along with individual SG teams who were off-world on missions or at the Alpha site when Earth was overrun, the resistance quickly scales up its operations from passive non-compliance to active, outright warfare. This is where you come in.
In SGR, you will fight to decide the fate of humanity across a series of crucial battles in the fight between the human resistance and the Goa’uld oppressors. From commando missions to sabotage or cripple ships in orbit, to straight-out battles across key locations such as airfields and of course the SG Command, not to mention a whole host of other scenario types, you can utilise the full range of technology from the series, and you are given a single choice: will you fight for humanity’s gravest enemies and crush the resistance forever, or will you join the rebellion?

This is just tp let everyone know we have know finished nearly all of our human weapons for the mod. These include: Knife, Beretta, Hand Grenade, Spas-12, MP-5, P-90, Dragunov sniper rifle and even the flare gun! We've only got 1 alien weapon completed but now we'll be concentrating more on them! Keep it up everyone!

Negative, afaik *this* SG mod won't get shut down, because the developers made sure to not have any legal issues.
