Oblivion mod | Coming Jan 2010
This mod is being made for those who love stargate and would like an rpg game from it, it is not a total conversion, but just a small mod which adds the ability to use several Stargates around the game world, the mod is primarily being worked on for Oblivion, but will be implemented into Fallout 3 at a later date using this page.

This mod is only being done during my spare time, since I am currently out of college for summer I have alot of time on my hands, I will be working on where the gates will go and the areas they lead to first.

If you expect me to release anything then I will expect something from you. Dont ask me just to release it, because I wont unless I get help. The mod I am attemting to make is a HUGE add-on to Oblivion, HUGE as in Im not doing it myself unless I will end up using it by myself.

This news is plain and simple.
Im sick of being the only one working on this project, Im going to continue it, as Im about half way and I want to enjoy playing with the new features Ive added and going to be adding. As I progress I will post pics and maybe videos of the progress, sometimes I might post a few bits of news letting you all know whats been done and whats coming next. BUT I will not release a single damn download since nobody, not one person has even hinted that they might be able to help. Nobody even tried to help me out when I ask for help, I even gave everyone an opportunity to have their own planet in the mod!!!
I refuse to release anything that you lot can use, Im the only one working on the project so I will be the only one able to play the mod.
Of course I will let you all know when I finish a Stage (which would have otherwise been released for public use).

a.. morrowind release? You mean TRAVEL to Morrowind? Or have you been lying about the 'Oblivion' Category thing?
No it means the first mod was for morrowind and Im now using the oblivion engine, how about reading through some of the news posts, wierd how almost everyone on this site has the inability to do that.
Hey, are you adding any new races to chose from in the beginning? Or are you adding the ability to ascend? Just wondering. ^^ Oh and if you have the patience to teach some one how to modify Oblivion I would be glad to help. ^^ I do have a little experience in coding but, that is only the system that homeworld 2 uses never tried oblivion. If not that I could always test for you. ^^
I know it kinda spoils the oblivion ingame but... Could you see yourself adding the space ship?
depends on what ship you mean, since theres more than 30 of them you have to be a bit more specific.
oh and to be honest, having a stargate mod at all ruins the lore of oblivion, which i couldnt care less about doing lol, there will be puddle jumpers dotted around on certain planets for easy travel and sometimes the only way to get somewhere. I dont think il ever have them moving, dont think its possible either.
SERIOUSLY!!!! A ROLEPLAYING STARGATE MOD!!!!! WEEE AND I HAVE OBLIVION TOO :D normaly all the stargate mods which sound fun and stuff are for games i dunt have :P

since you can travel to other worlds...i dunno, what do you think? :D
yep, will be till its finished ^_^ would go quicker if I had some help but only 1 other person out of the hundred+ that visit daily even agreed to do something.
