Hello Everyone,

it has been a long time without any dev response, indeed. I am really sorry about that but there has been a lot going on in personal lives of the team and so there is almost no time to work on this mod. And frankly, a lot of community enthusiasm for modding has been lost thanks to two unsuccessful attempts of HD Interactive to create Nexus 2 and also NBC Universal banning incredible BattleStar Galactica modification.

Let's answer the most important question that you possibly have about SG: War Begins, B5: Conflicts of Loyalty 2 and W40k: Battlefleet Nexus. Are these modifications dead? The answer is NO! However, there will be no massive releases or regular updates as there is not enough free time for such things.

What is it that you should look forward to during 2014 then? SG: War Begins is going to get small update fixing few thing there and there, bringing back energy weapons and improving drone mechanics (a little) for Ancient Battleship, visually altering some parts of GUI, improving some planet visuals and very few other small things. W40k: Battlefleet Nexus might be (finally) getting a small Alpha Version release with handful Imperial and Chaos ships by the end of 2014. B5: Conflicts of Loyalty 2 ... well, let's say that we will see what we can do if there is enough free time for this one too.

Hey guys, i've been asking this around other nexus mods so im going to ask it here as well. Do you guys have any idea how fighters work in Nexus and if so is there some sort of tutorial/faq to get them in missions? I've been messing around with the mission editor (not the skirmisher) and still haven't figured out how "boats" (fighters) work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey itchy01ca, fighter squadrons are part of the ship's loadout as weapon devices. They can be directly placed under Shiptype and its first bunch of devices at tacticstypes.ini. As for changing fighter squadrons in the middle of some mission, that is a question for mission makers. Hopefully, some of them will come along with an answer for you.

Hi Itchy01ca, providing that the mothership is capable of housing fighters of the required type then changing them mid-mission should be do-able... maybe as simple as 'installdevice();'. They can be fiddly critters sometimes, but if you have specific questions, pm me and I'll try to help.

Hey guys let me start by sayiing your mod is amazing and is perhaps my favorite stargate mod next to the ArmA stargate mods.
Any way I waas messing around with the Nexus Skirmisher and my favorite thing to use is basically anything Anything ancient and I was using the ancient Aurora class cruisers and I noticed that all they have is drone weapons and while extremely powerful they run out of ammo rather quickly. So I was wondering if you guys could possibly put out a weapon patch that lets them use the batteries that are plastered all over the ship. I know they aren't used in the show save for maybe once or twice but they were functioning batteries in the lore and it would make the battleships much more useful in battle. Also do you have plans to finish the textures for the Ori motherships and the Destiny? Thank you and keep up the good work. The mod is amazing :)

Aurora's energy weapons will make their return with the next release. Textures for Destiny are also planned for the next release. However, I can't give you any date for that next release at least not yet.
