Stargate : La Releve ("The Relief" in english) is a French mod developed both on BF2 and BF2142 engine. We do not promote our mod a lot, so, maybe, you don't know it, but we are working on it since BF42 was released. Our mod will allow players to play Taur'i and Goa'uld. Our first priority is to change totally the BF2 gameplay. So don't worry, Stargate: The Relief is everything except a Bf2 clone. It will be a multiplayer mod. Any character from the TV show will be include, only soldiers and SG member teams, Goa'uld and Jaffa. We do that because it’s a multiplayer mod. We are working hard to create a very immersive gameplay, giving you the feeling to be in the TV show, to take part of the war between Goa'uld and Taur'i.

This update is an opportunity to show you the Abydos's trailer and a bonus. Filmed during the Beta 12b and 13, they show some features of the future release. The whole dev team wish you a very Happy New Year !

Hi everyone (ça rend mieux que le hello)! Since the last update, I have gathered for you an interview realised by people curious that what SGLR will be. If you want to have a look, I invite you to follow this link (sadly only in french for the moment). You will find up there, the release's maplist and somes infos about future releases.
However, we inform you that we are looking for bilingual people (English-French and German-French). If you are willing help us, please send me a mail.

Is it me or does the staff weapon fire a bit too fast?
Franzmann : Go on our official website, but I don't know if we reallyh need a german translator (BFgames tranlate our news in german :))
@ Extreme43 : The Staff weapon has 2 diferent fire mode : One not really fast but really powerful, and another less powerful and faster, but it is always like the show :) (watch "Bloodlines" episode (S01E11) and you will see that staff weapon can shoot faster than our ! :) )
anyone noticed how Stargate mods and addons popular nowadays they really should continue SG-1 after the release of te DVD only movies of SG-1 instead of Atlantis.
But we actually search a person who can translate our "MOD" in german since the french. :)
