Stargate : La Releve ("The Relief" in english) is a French mod developed both on BF2 and BF2142 engine. We do not promote our mod a lot, so, maybe, you don't know it, but we are working on it since BF42 was released. Our mod will allow players to play Taur'i and Goa'uld. Our first priority is to change totally the BF2 gameplay. So don't worry, Stargate: The Relief is everything except a Bf2 clone. It will be a multiplayer mod. Any character from the TV show will be include, only soldiers and SG member teams, Goa'uld and Jaffa. We do that because it’s a multiplayer mod. We are working hard to create a very immersive gameplay, giving you the feeling to be in the TV show, to take part of the war between Goa'uld and Taur'i.

Hi! First we apologize for our silence after 2 months. To be frank, we have just finished our first release for Battlefield 2. You can start mistreating me because we won't release it to the public for now. We prefer waiting for the 1.5 patch before publishing our build. Anyway, the time between now and the 1.5 publishing will be used to add new content to the release such as skins, weapons, ambient sounds and gamemode.

We are also looking for some french Battlefield 2 teams to do a mass test on our servers. We'll unleash a changelog of the future content of the 1.0 version of Stargate The Relief in a few weeks.

Looks good but theres to much stargate and startrek mods out.
Uh no there isnt, theres two half life ones which suck, no BF2 ones which we all want, and this will like never be released, there isnt enought stargate modding i say!!!!
You are wrong.
There are many Stargate mod under development but only few are released. Sad thing is, that most of the good mods will never be finished and released.
Yes what i ment was that there are a few under development, mostly for the same games, and i think it is stupid they dont all pull together and do one great mod.
Also it is a shame that none of the stargate mods will be very good as they do not focus on realism, like BF2 mod Project Reality, if they made a SG mod it would be amazing!!!
