Effects are great! Having a little question btw. Can the sound files of speech be replaced with the stargate-themed ones?
They will be at some point, but it's pretty low on our list of things to do at the moment.
Yeah I agree, very nice effects. I have to agree with p620 though, when seeing this and at the same time hearing the Vasari speech, I am really-really hoping you will have proper speech done. :)

Just have to leave here a second comment =) I must say that it's perhaps the most exact imitation of SG hyperspace effects and Ha'Tak class ship ever been made in videogames and mods, related to the Stargate theme.
